General Program and Trip Descriptions

All trips meet at Watauga High School with the majority being suitable for a beginner. Specific

trip details will be given at membership meetings call Mountain Alliance at 263-0383 or check out our website www.mountainalliance.org for more information.

Spring = Adventure It is important to attend the all member bi monthly Membership Meetings to save your spot on

these exciting spring adventures.

Skiing Series: For the first time ever, Mountain Alliance will be hitting the slopes on the weekends. This is a great opportunity for the beginner, who has never put on a pair of skis, to the advance who wants to improve their skills. If cabin fever has been making you blue, this Skiing

Series is for you! Service: Community Service lays a solid foundation in the program of Mountain Alliance and

also has consistently more student participation than any other type of trip. We believe it is important for today’s youth to get out and serve in their own community. We are excited to

announce a community service project almost every week of the spring calendar!

Alternative Spring Break Trips: Who wants to hang around the house when you could spend your spring break making a change in the world around you? As always the destination of these trips will remain confidential until the trip date approaches, but all we can say is you are

not going to want to miss these adventures!

Rolling Academy 2010: 10 days, 10 adventures, a trip of a life time! 2010 Rolling Academy applications will be available soon! Ask a MA staff for more details!
