This is what Tranquilizers usually look like.
Tranquilizer Pills
• Cheryl had a stressful job. One day she had an anxiety attack.
• Her doctor told her to take some Tranquilizers. • She eventually started using more and more.
She thought they could become addictive. Her doctor said they couldn’t.
• She persuaded him to take her off the drug anyway.
• Her anxiety attacks returned and got worse. – She went tranquilizer-free for 1 year.
Cheryl’s Story
• She had a really big anxiety attack. – A chemical imbalance was the cause of the anxiety
attacks. • The doctor put her back on the Tranquilizers.
She was fine for a while until she started feeling depressed.
• An anti-depressant was prescribed but she didn’t want to become dependent on them so she tried “withdrawing” again.
• This time she was successful.
