A Letter From Our Co-FounderWhen we all realize, at the end of the day, we, as human beings have

the same needs & wants, the world will be a much better place!

Believing in that mantra, I know, together, we can change the world!

It all started with a father, daughter

hike across Spain and a bottle of

Argan Oil.

When I first started sharing my vision for helping others in far away countries, I didnt think anyone would agree with me and I certainly didnt think that we could turn that idea into a business. The ironic thing, the more I shared my story the more people listened, were genuinely interested and wanted to be part of it!

I believe we all want to be part of a

larger story, a bigger picture and

ultimately we all want to see people

succeed.

Almost three years ago, we began to build a community of Artisan Partners across Morocco, the hardest thing I think any of us had ever done, but we did it! Our second year we built a community of Artisan Partners across Peru and China with the expertise of Jose and Patrisia and so many more and this year we grew a community of Artisan Partners across India, Guatemala, Uganda, Chile and Indonesia. Today we are proud to say we work in 8 countries on 4 continents.

Throughout this time our One Earth Community across Canada grew to almost 300 Consultants and thousands more women who have gathered at Pop-Up Parties. Its from all of these people, our community of World Changers that we all really started to believe we could change the world! Together, we are better & trust me, through many different languages & cultures and religions - we are all the same.

UgandaIntroducing our newest partnerships

Our partnership in Uganda is so very important. We work with former child soldiers who have found a new life and way out of poverty by making paper beads and beautiful jewellery.

They are very skilled at turning upcycled paper into masterpieces!

They carefully cut the paper into tiny, thin strips and then roll each strip around a toothpick to create the bead. They then varnish the bead, paint the bead and varnish it again to ensure they are durable and smooth.

After allowing them to dry, they assemble the necklaces and bracelets following the design pattern.

Voila, beautiful pieces and lives forever changed!

Each one of our products starts it journey to Canada by very traditional methods, including mule carts and by

foot!

Our partnership in India is focused on showcasing wonderful talent and building confidence in our Artisan Partners as well as an income for themselves. India remains, especially for women, one of the most economically devastated places in the world.

The women we work with support themselves and their children after leaving abusive relationships or being widowed.

The metal and beadwork in the pieces are unbelievable. Whether creating masterpieces from brass or with upcycled glass & Kantha textiles each piece is made with love.

Meet Kenzie. She was a beautiful, intelligent young woman with a terrific sense of humour. She loved children and animals and boy did they love her back. She was passionate about her

beliefs and even more passionate about standing up for those who

could not stand up for themselves. She loved her family more than

anything, especially her new baby brothers!!

She also had Epilepsy.

She never let Epilepsy define who she was or what she was capable of.

Sadly, it was Epilepsy that took Kenzies life last year.

She wont get to see her baby brothers grow up or live her dreams. Her brothers will never remember her

laugh or beautiful smile.

We hope that Epilepsy wont mean the same for other young women and men who live with this disease daily.

Thank you for supporting a terrific cause. Kenzie would be thrilled to

know that she was able to help someone else not let Epilepsy define

who they are and what they are capable of.

GuatemalaIntroducing our newest partnerships

Our partnership in Guatemala honours the tradition of both weaving and natural dye making. Our Artisan partners use local leaves, flowers and bark to create such vibrant colours, the yarn is then hand dyed.

Our pieces are then woven using handlooms that the women make themselves. The weaving is done at each womans home so that she is able to tend to her children at the same time.

Once the woven pieces are complete, they are cut into patterns and carefully constructed with cotton and leather to make a beautiful bag! A true ripple effect!
