The refund date is calculated from the “Begin Date” listed on the class schedule and includes Saturday and Sunday. A Tuesday/

Thursday class within a 16-week session would start counting on the “Begin Date” (normally Monday) to reach the refund date. The

Lone Star College System offers more than 30 sessions within any long semester (fall and spring). Because of this fact, Admissions &

Records staff cannot provide or guarantee a generic date or number of days for refund dates or last day to drop dates. Refund dates in

mini-mesters, summer sessions, late starts, and fast tracks have a very short window due to the length of the weeks within the session.

1. Login to your myLoneStar and click on Enrollment

and then My Class Schedule.

2. Click on the blue highlighted "Section Number" to

display the course details.

3. Take note of the "Session Name" and "Start Date".

Note: For a 70% refund of tuition and fees start the first

day of the session (this may not be the first class day)

and every day after, including Saturdays and Sundays.
