Your Spring ForwardHost your own Spring Forward dance show at your school, village hall, community centre or any local venue by registering your event with us. You will receive a poster, programme template, stickers and certificates for all the dancers, plus your event will be featured on the festival website. Contact us below to register!

As part of the Octagon Theatre Dance Development Project there will be professional performances, workshops and training to tie in with Spring Forward Festival. One particular highlight is Motionhouse’s return to Somerset with a performance and residency.

InspirED is a unique partnership between Spaeda, Somerset

Film & Video, Somerset Art Works and Take Art, contracted by Somerset Schools Compact. Look out for the InspirED events throughout the festival, marked with a red dot in the timetable.

Take Art is delighted to present Spring Forward Festival 2014! To celebrate ten years of Spring Forward, we are hosting a month-long Youth Dance Festival across Somerset at a range of venues. Spring Forward Festival aims to encourage children and young people of all ages to engage with dance through a number of avenues. The broad programme offers unrivalled opportunities to perform on a professional stage, participate in workshops and watch professional dance performances. Be sure to get involved!
