Fitness Excursion: Cooper River Bridge Run/Walk (SP)Tuesday, March 3 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. GoKiawah invites you to experience new and trending exercise programs, plus outdoor fitness activities with friends and family this year! Each month GoKiawah will provide you with the opportunity to go off-island and participate in classes at area studios, gyms, and outdoor venues. In anticipation of the 38th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run we are heading downtown to run or walk the Ravenel Bridge. Cost is $15.00 per person and includes transportation. Fishing Tournament (Rhett’s Bluff)Friday, April 3 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Whether you are a fishing fanatic or a first-timer, the Club invites you, your family, and friends to the ultimate fishing experience in this action-filled fishing tournament! Kid Zone (SP)Saturday, April 4 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Explore the Club’s “kids only” program designed for our younger Club Members ages 5 – 12 to have a night of their own! The Sports Pavilion will be transformed into an endless array of fun-filled and energy packed activities including pool games, dodge ball, ping-pong, and field games to name a few. In addition to an array of activities, several special attractions will be featured: laser tag, Art Buzz, and a game zone arcade!

Full Moon Kayaking (CSQ Dock) Saturday, April 47:30 to 9:30 p.m.Bring family, friends, and your sense of adventure on this late-night kayak marsh tour. The full moon sets the scene for this thrilling new perspective of

the Island and its surroundings. All equipment will be provided and children under the age of 13 will be assigned to a tandem kayak. Reservations are required and will open on February 5, 2015.

Easter Egg Hunt (CSQ)Sunday, April 59:30 to 10:30 a.m.A Club tradition, the Easter Egg Hunt captures the essence of the spring holiday! This year’s complimentary event will be held on the Cassique driving range and allow children to fill their baskets with eggs and prizes. Back by popular demand, Palmetto Ponies & Pets will feature a petting zoo and pony rides!

Children will be divided into two age groups for the egg hunts: five and under and six and older. Festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. with the five and under egg hunt beginning promptly at 10:15 a.m. followed by the six and older egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. Bring along your cameras and Easter baskets.

Easter BrunchSunday, April 5 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (BC)11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CSQ/RC)This Easter Sunday, the Club will offer three dining options: The River Room at the River Course, Tides at The Beach Club, and Voysey’s at Cassique.

Tides and Voysey’s will feature an à la carte menu consisting of traditional breakfast fare, delectable lunch items, and a children’s menu.

The River Course will feature an extravagant Easter brunch buffet. Menu items include ham and beef carving stations, a salad station, made-to-order omelets, shrimp and grits, a children’s station, and mouth-watering pastries and desserts to name a few. Cost for buffet is $37.95++ for adults; $21.95 for ages 6 – 12; and $13.95++ for ages 3 – 5.

Excursion: Family Circle Cup: Semi-Finals (SP) Saturday, April 1110:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Accompany Head Tennis Professional Craig Rice as the City of Charleston and Daniel Island serve as a backdrop to one of the richest and most traditional events in women’s professional tennis. The Family Circle Cup, a WTA Premier Event, has a roster of past champions that include some of the biggest names in the history of women’s tennis. The Family Circle Cup boasts a competitive purse every year and more than ninety player’s battle for one of the most coveted trophies in women’s tennis. Fitness Excursion: Dragon Boat Festival (Brittlebank Park)Saturday, May 28:30 a.m.GoKiawah invites you to experience new and trending exercise programs, plus outdoor fitness activities with friends and family this year! Each month GoKiawah will provide you with the opportunity to go off-island and participate in classes at area studios, gyms, and outdoor venues.

This month we are putting together a team of Club Members that will spend the day competing at Brittlebank Park against local area teams in the 8th Annual Charleston Dragon Boat Festival! On the day of the event, the Club team will compete in three heats based on qualifying times. Beginning April 21 through May 2, Members of the Club team will have two opportunities to participate in practice runs.

Each race will require 16 to 21 paddlers and a drummer with a minimum of eight female paddlers

per race. Participation in each race is not required by each paddler as long as the minimum of 16 paddlers is met. Cost is $49.50 per paddler and includes team entry fee and t-shirt. Participants are asked to provide their own transportation to allow for flexibility during the daylong event.

Additionally, paddlers are asked to raise $50.00 through their network of friends and family to be donated to cancer survivor programs of Dragon Boat Charleston. There is no charge for spectators so be sure to invite your family and friends to cheer you on under the Club’s tent. Food vendors will be on hand but both participants and spectators may bring their food and beverages of choice. Please note: coolers 50 quarts or less are permitted in the festival area. Fishing Tournament (Rhett’s Bluff) Friday, May 228:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.Whether you are a fishing fanatic or a first-timer, the Club invites you, your family, and friends to the ultimate fishing experience in this action-filled fishing tournament. Anglers will meet at Rhett’s Bluff at 8:00 a.m. for a tournament rules meeting and Captain introduction before heading out to travel the Kiawah River to compete in this Redfish and Sheepshead tournament.

Tournament is limited to 15 individual entries and will allow up to two to three people on each boat. Entry cost is $185.00+ per person and includes half-day charter, equipment, bait, boxed lunch, and prizes. Entry cost for Members who wish to use their own charter is $25.00 and includes boxed lunch.
