A special family celebration trip gave us the opportunity to enjoy the Maui sunsets and

a whole lot more!

It turned out the friend who came back to do a DTS with us at An Cuan didn’t stay just a friend. On that beautiful beach, Christopher Walker and I got engaged!

We’ve been thankful to be able to do this visa renewal trip to Canada together before we both return to Rostrevor to work with YWAM.

Chris and I are looking at late 2014 for the wedding and doing our homework on possible dates and locations.

We’ve loved getting to see many of you in our recent travels, but I find myself saying the same thing every year. There’s never enough time to see everyone! In case we didn’t get a chance to visit...

Fun Fact: Lived in Sydney, Australia for two years

Trusting all goes well with my visa renewal, we’re expecting to be back at An Cuan around mid-June. Chris is planning to start our new staff internship program while I’ve stepped off the base leadership team to spend more time on pastoral care and national leadership.

My first year in the spiritual direction course at Manresa in Dublin went well. We’re on summer break and will pick up sessions again in September.

Thank you for all your kind inquiries and prayers for the family. Auntie Rose took a very quick turn in April, passing away just a few weeks later. We had a beautiful celebration of her life May 16th. Thank you so much for your continued prayers especially for Uncle Bill and my cousins, Taryn, Lindsay and Adam.

We had lots of reasons to celebrate during our family holiday. One being, Dad’s doing great! The cancer is gone and Dad’s back at making sand castle forts with the boys. We’re grateful for God’s strength and grace in the journey.

Thanks for all your encouragement and support for another full year!

Work on our 100 year old roof is getting underway this summer! If you would like to donate to the approx £100 000 cost, please click here. We have a roofing contractor who is working with individuals and teams donating their time. If you know of anyone who would be interested, we’d love to hear from you.
