REFUNDS AND WITHDRAWALS Refund requests must always be in written form and dated at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program.

Refund requests made at least 5 days in advance of the program will be assessed a $5 withdrawal fee.

All camps, including vacation week and summer camps, will be assessed a $25 withdrawal fee if the request is made

within 5 business days of the start of the program. After that time refunds will only be processed with medical docu-

mentation.

FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid is available for all participants and in all programs based on financial

need. After creating your CampMinder account on our website, under “Forms and

Documents” you will find the Scholarship application. Print this out return to us

online, or stop by our office to fill out a scholarship application.

GIRL TIME

This program is geared for the young ladies out there who

need some girl time! During this program participants will

focus on issues causing stress in their lives such as manag-

ing school and responsibilities, peer pressure, friendships,

relationships, family, social media, and independence.

After group discussions on these topics and more the girls

will be able to use varying art forms to express their

thoughts and emotions. This program allows for a safe en-

vironment for girls to talk with their peers, express their

feelings and emotions, as well as learn new avenues to

express themselves.

WAKE UP AND MOVE!

Looking for a new way to start your Saturday morning

this spring? Meet us at The Bridge Center for a morning

walk, roll, or run! Once a month come together with a

group of people who want to start their Saturday off

moving! Participants will get the chance to get moving

on our track or down around our pond. Each Saturday

will start with a full body stretch and warm up, followed

by the activity, and ending with a cool down and breath-

ing exercises!

DRUMS ALIVE!

ARCHERY FOR ALL Archery is a sport that nearly everyone can pursue,

despite the disability they experience. Archery en-

hances focus and attention, as well as physical and

mental health. Participants will enjoy shooting bal-

loons along with other fun target games, while learn-

ing the basic steps to shooting a compound or re-

curve bow.

YOUNG ATHLETES

Special Olympics Young Athletes is a sport and play

program for children with and without intellectual dis-

abilities, ages 2-7 years old. Young Athletes introduces

basic sport skills, such as running, kicking, and throw-

ing. Young Athletes offers families, teachers, caregiv-

ers, and people from the community the chance to

share the joy of sports with all children.

Volunteers are always welcome to this program!

Learn the basics of kayaking and other paddle based

from Oprey Sea and Surf!

DRUMS ALIVE!

SHINE PROGRAM

During this outdoor soccer program, participants will

engage in practices that break soccer into specific

components while working with teammates to learn

new skills in a fun, non-competitive environment.

The coach will use specific tools and techniques in-

cluding picture schedules, cheers, and repetition to

reinforce communication, aid in transition, and in-

crease task completion.

SOCCER SKILL DEVELOPMENT

All of classes are non-competitive, using positive rein-

forcement to teach soccer skills in a fun, engaging,

educational environment. We create a specific curric-

ulum tailored to each participants needs. Our unique

age-specific curriculum is designed by a combination

of early childhood, behavioral, and soccer specialists

to ensure that each child is learning, improving their

self-confidence, and having a blast from the moment

the whistle blows.

ULTIMATE ACCESS Ultimate Access is an adaptive approach to disc

sports! The program will focus mainly on Ultimate

Frisbee by breaking down the sport specific skills

needed to play through drills and scrimmages. There

will also be a small introduction to the sport of Disc

Golf! Through this program participants will further

develop gross and fine motor skills, develop social

connections, help develop psycho-social skills, and

learn a new sport!

Work, Friendship, Life The Bridges to Independence (BTI) program is de-

signed for teens and adults with Asperger’s Syn-

drome, High Functioning Autism, and related develop-

mental disabilities. Participants in this program will

receive instruction and practice in the skills needed

for independent living such as cooking, cleaning, laun-

dry, and money management. Additional emphasis

will be placed on communication and social skills, in-

cluding self-awareness, self-advocacy, and personal

safety.

SOCIAL ADVENTURES

Social adventures is designed for children and teens

with high functioning Autism, Asperger's, PDD-NOS,

and other related disorders. Children receive social

skill instruction and have the opportunity to practice

these skills in structured, small group activities. Coun-

selors provide social coaching throughout each ses-

sion with a focus on developing friendships.

BRIDGES TO INDEPENDENCE:

College, Career, Community The Bridges to Independence (BTI) program is de-

al skill development program. Participants will work

PLAY, LEARN, GROW PLG is a therapeutic recreation based program, where

staff work 1:1 with participants to work towards goals

that are addressed at home, school, or in other thera-

peutic settings. Recreation and leisure can improve

the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs of

participants. Based off of participant specific interest,

recreation based modalities such as, but are not lim-

ited to: board games, sports, movement, music, cook-

ing, art, play, sensory, yoga, expressive exercise, imag-

inative play, outdoor activities, technology, improv

and more, can be used to work toward, and achieve

outcomes, that will then transfer into real life. This is

a 1:1 program geared toward the individual.

Are you a reader or want to gain confidence in reading? Come on down to The Bridge Center and spend time with

our new friends! Our therapy dogs allow for a relaxed non-judgmental atmosphere, where our participants can

solely focus on their reading! Our furry friends enjoy stories of all kinds, feel free to bring your own book or join in

on the story of the week! Participants will have 20 minutes of 1:1 time to read to the therapy dog with the support

GARDENING CLUB

If you love the outdoors, flowers, plants, and digging in

the dirt, then this program is for you! This is a fun-

filled, educational opportunity for participants to learn

about horticulture, gardening equipment, and plant life

cycles, and spring garden preparation! Participants are

advised to wear clothes that are subject to getting

dirty! 1:1 aids are not provided.

The month of April will be held indoors. During May

and June the program will be outdoors and weather

permitted.

LEGO ROBOTICS 2.0!

Lego Robotics has introduced kids to basic ro-

botics programming! Now Lego has rolled out a

new program with new kits and projects! Kids

create bots with motors and sensors and then

program them using new iPad software and

Bluetooth technology! Introduces kids to new

robotic programming. Participants in this class

will engage in building and engineering chal-

lenges guaranteed to engage both techies and

Lego maniacs!

FISHING

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Let The

Bridge Center be your guide! We’ll have equipment on

hand to use, as well as tackle and live bait! Fisherman

and Fisherwoman will learn the basics of fishing, from

casting out, to baiting up! The best part– you’ll actual-

ly be able to catch and release fish! Parents welcome!

Bridge Center offers state-of-the-art equine facilitated activities and therapies designed to meet the unique

THERAPEUTIC HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS

The Bridge Center offers year round therapeutic horseback

riding lessons to children and adults of all abilities. Therapeu-

tic horseback riding provides physical, cognitive, behavioral,

social, and emotional benefits to participants. Participants are

taught traditional riding skills using adaptive equipment and

teaching methods, specially trained horses, and the support

of up to three volunteers, in lessons tailored to the unique

needs of each participant. Lessons are offered 6 days per

week, in either a group or private setting. All lessons are

taught by PATH International licensed and Massachusetts li-

censed riding instructors

HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS

For individuals who are not interested in or are unable to par-

ticipate in our mounted activities, The Bridge Center is proud

to offer an unmounted horsemanship program. Our unmount-

ed lessons are tailored to the individual’s unique interests and

abilities. Unmounted activities include but are not limited to:

horse handling, equine nutrition, grooming and tacking, eq-

uine anatomy, basic wound care, and teamwork with the

horse. Unmounted programs offer many of the same benefits

as our therapeutic and recreational riding programs. Benefits

include building self-confidence, social skills, responsibility,

and following multi-step directions amongst many others. All

lessons are taught by PATH International licensed and Massa-

chusetts licensed riding instructors.

VOLUNTEER RIDING LESSONS

Volunteers, come enjoy a discounted horseback riding les-

son at The Bridge Center! To be eligible for volunteer les-

sons, you must volunteer a minimum of three hours per

week for the entire session immediately preceding the ses-

sion you are riding in, then maintain your commitment

throughout the duration of your lessons in order to qualify

for the discounted rate. Participants are taught traditional

English or western riding skills, stable management, and

horsemanship skills. All riders must be independent of lead-

ers and side walkers.

Lessons are offered 6 days per week, in a group setting. All

lessons are taught by PATH International licensed and

Massachusetts licensed riding instructors.

RECREATIONAL RIDING LESSONS

Recreational riding lessons are offered year round and are

available to community members and volunteers without

disabilities, who do not meet the minimum requirements for

volunteer lessons. Recreational riders are taught traditional

English or western riding skills, stable management, and

horsemanship skills. All riders must be independent of lead-

ers and side walkers and must not qualify for therapeutic or

volunteer lessons.

Lessons are offered 6 days per week, in a group setting. All

lessons are taught by PATH International licensed and

APRIL VACATION HORSE CAMP Looking for something fun to do during April Vacation? Come

MINI HOLIDAY HORSE CAMPS: Good Friday

Our mini holiday horse camps are offered on nationally rec-

ognized holidays throughout the year. Mini horse camps

consist of daily riding lessons, and unmounted learning op-

portunities covering topics such as stable management, eq-

uine anatomy, wound care, grooming and tacking, and other

horsemanship skills. It is our goal here at The Bridge Center

to provide our participants with a well rounded

equine education.

CAMP CONNECT

Camp Connect is a 3 week summer camp for campers with Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism and re-

lated disorders. This camps is designed to meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of campers while par-

ticipating in a variety of activities, daily. Campers participate in recreation activities as well as scheduled time

throughout the week to work on social skill development lead by the Camp’s Directors!

Session 1: 1-3 Price: $1,820.00* AGE: 4-22 Ratio: 1:3

Session 2: 4-6 Price: $1,950.00 AGE: 4-22 Ratio: 1:3

Session 3: 7-9 Price: $1,950.00 AGE: 4-22 Ratio: 1:3

CAMP DISCOVER

Camp Discover is open to all children regardless of the nature or severity of their disabilities. Most campers in this

program require a 1:1 aide. Campers enjoy therapeutic recreation and traditional playtime activities in a sup-

portive, small group environment such as; cooking, music, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor adventure,

yoga, and much, much more!

Sessions: 1-9 Price: $550/wk. ($440 Session 2 only) AGE: 4-22 Ratio: 1:1

CAMP SUNSHINE Camp Sunshine is for campers with and without disabilities who are looking for an active and eventful summer!

Campers will fish and boat on the pond, explore our nature trails, play on our soccer fields, swim in the pool, and

more! During each session, staff will assure campers have fun in the sun while developing tolerance, positive peer

relationships and more.

CAMP ENDEAVOR

Camp Endeavor is open to children diagnosed with Neuromuscular Diseases and other related disorders. Campers

will explore all the fun of summer camp in a supportive, small group environment with like peers. Campers will

participate in a variety of activities such as swimming, cooking, arts and crafts, music, sports, outdoor adventure,

archery, and so much more!

Session: 3 and 5 Price: $550/wk. AGE: 4-22 Ratio: 1:1

VOLUNTEERS IN PROGRESS (VIP)

VIP is a weekly camp for teens and adults with high functioning disabilities that are interested in developing self-

confidence and leadership skills that will strengthen their readiness for volunteer and/or work positions. This pro-

gram includes one off campus field trip per week. During their time at The Bridge Center VIP campers will spend

half of their time participating in recreation programs while the other half is spent volunteering around campus,

and developing leadership skills in a classroom setting.

Sessions: 1-9 Price: $600/wk.. ($480 Session 2 only) AGE: 14-18 Ratio: 1:4

HORSE CAMP

Horse Camp is designed for campers ages 8-14 that love the barn, animals and especially horses! Campers in this

program also participate in daily riding lessons.

BRING YOUR SIB TO CAMP DAYS

Siblings of campers that attend ANY of our Bridge Center camps are welcome to come and participate in a day of

camp! Kids will do

activities with their sibling for a portion of the day and then transition into group activities with other siblings!
