DAP SeriesDAP Series DDRRYY AAIIRR PPAACC

General’s DAP Series Dry Air PacTM is an FM Approved, twin towerregenerative dryer / compressor package. This turnkey system is designed toprovide the sprinkler system with moisture free air to a -40oF Dew Point. The aircompressor is designed to fill the sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13standards, as well as provide the higher pressure needed to allow the twin towerregenerative dryer to function properly.

Prior to entering the regenerative air dryer, an air cooled aftercooler coolsthe compressor’s hot discharge air to a maximum 100oF. A coalescingprefilter with differential pressure gauge removes oil vapor and othercontaminants that can destroy the desiccant in the dryer towers.A combination particulate filter and regulator prevents downstreammigration of desiccant dust while regulating air pressure to thesprinkler system.

All components are pre-piped, pre-tested, and pre-wiredfor ease of mechanical and electrical installation on site. Eachunit includes a UL Listed, FM Approved Air MaintenanceDevice. -100oF dew point is achievable - consult factory fordetails.

Applications for the Dry Air PacTM include, butare not limited to Freezer Rooms, Cold StorageWarehouses, Attic Spaces and Parking Garages.
