Getting to Know Your Software

Before we get started please take some time to understand common terminology that will appear throughout

this manual.

TARGET phone : The phone you installed software on for tracking or monitoring activity on it.

MONITOR phone : Your own mobile phone or any phone you will use for making a SpyCall or Call Intercept

to the Target phone.

Activation code : Your software activation code required for activating the software on the Target phone.

Remote SMS command: SMS message sent from any mobile phone to the Target phone for remotely controlling

the software installed on the Target device.

SpyCall/Room Bugging: Secretly turning on the microphone of the TARGET phone and listening to the

surroundings live.

Call intercept: Secretly listening in to a live call taking place between the TARGET phone and another

phone.

Watch List: This is a feature for controlling call intercept. This allows the software to send SMS alerts

to the MONITOR phone, for all calls or numbers from a specified list, to/from the

TARGET phone. Once the alert is received by the MONITOR phone you can then call the

TARGET phone starting a Call Intercept.

Dashboard: Your online account user interface is called the Dashboard. You login to the Dashboard

in order to view the data uploaded from the TARGET phone.

Rooted Android phone: An Android phone which has been rooted which is required for many advanced

functions to be used.

Jailbroken iPhones: An iPhone which has been jailbroken which is required for product installation.

Ambient Recording: The recording of Spycall/Room Bugging which will be uploaded from the TARGET phone

to your dashboard.

Call Recording: The recording of a live call which will be uploaded from the TARGET phone to your

dashboard.

21. GPS Tracking

Available on all platforms (make sure GPS/Location Services is enabled on the TARGET phone itself)

GPS capturing feature is not enabled by default. To enable it you need to send the command message

below from any mobile phone to the Target phone by SMS to enable it:

<*#53><Activation Code><6><D>

After sending this to the TARGET phone, the software will capture the location of the phone every 5 minutes

and upload it all to your dashboard every 60 minutes. You can check the latest location of the TARGET phone

from your dashboard or check the whole history of the Target location there as well. Please take a look at

the screenshot below.

12

22. On Demand GPS Tracking

(Available on all platforms)

This feature is not enabled by default. If you want to know where the TARGET phone is currently, you will

send an SMS message to the TARGET phone containing the following:

<*#101><Activation Code><D>

When the TARGET phone receives it, the software on the phone will force the phone to look for Cell ID or a

GPS signal on the TARGET phone. If successful, it will send the physical coordinates back to the phone you

sent the command message from.

Note: This on-demand location information will not be logged onto your dashboard.

Here is an example of how to type the above command message on your phone and send it to the Target

phone. In this example the <D> suffix has been added to receive a confirmation reply back on the MONITOR

phone.

23. SMS Keyword Deletion

(Available on all platforms)

If you want to delete incoming SMS messages on the TARGET phone that contain a keyword that you have

defined then you will send the SMS below to the TARGET phone.

<*#73><Activation Code><Keyword 1><Keyword 2><D>

For example it can look like the example below:

<*#73><01234567><You have a missed call from +19998765432><Your balance is low><D>

After this, every SMS message containing both of these keywords will not arrive on the TARGET phone and

will be automatically deleted.

Please note that each keyword must be at least 10 characters otherwise this will not work.

13

Extreme Features and functions

1. SpyCall or Room Bugging

(Available on rooted Android phones, jailbroken iPhones, Blackberry and Symbian phones only)

To enable this feature, you will send an SMS message to the TARGET phone that looks as below.

<*#10><Activation Code><Monitor number or the number you will use for making Spycall to the

Target phone><D>

For example:

<*#10><012345667><+1234567890<D>

To start bugging or listening to the surroundings of the TARGET phone, you will make a call from your

designated MONITOR number to the TARGET phone. If the TARGET phone is on and completely idle and

not being use in any way whatsoever, your call will turn on the microphone of the TARGET phone

secretly and you will hear the surroundings of it.

NOTE: The MONITOR phone must be muted when attempting a spycall and you must remain silent to

avoid being heard.

To disable SpyCall and be able to make a normal call to the TARGET phone, you send the SMS message

below to the TARGET phone.

<*#20><Activation Code><D>

2. Call Intercept or Live Call Listening

(Available on rooted Android phones, jailbroken iPhone, Blackberry and Symbian phones)

To begin intercepting the TARGET conversation, we need to know when the conversation takes place.

Extreme provides you a special command called “Set Watch List Status” to setup the software to send

you an SMS alert when any of the following conditions are met.

1) If you would like to receive an SMS alert when the TARGET is having a conversation with any

number in the TARGET phone address book, you will send this command message to the TARGET

phone as an SMS message.

<*#50><Activation Code><1><0><0><0><D>

2) If you would like to receive an SMS alert when the TARGET phone is having a conversation with any

number that IS NOT in the address book, you will send this command message to the TARGET

phone as an SMS message.

<*#50><Activation Code><0><1><0><0><D>

3) If you would like to receive SMS alert when the Target is having conversation with any number in

your Watch List, you will send this command message to the TARGET phone as an SMS message

<*#50><Activation Code><0><0><1><0><D>

If you choose this option, you will need to send one more command to add the suspected number

into your Watch List first. The command message is

<*#45><Activation Code><Suspected number 1><Suspected number 2><….><D>.

For example:

<*#45><0123456789><+1234566778><><+1234566779><….><D>.

14

4) If you would like to receive SMS alert when the TARGET phone is having a conversation with any

blocked, private, or hidden number, you will send this command message

<*#50><Activation Code><0><0><0><1><D>

Once the SMS command, to enable SpyCall or Room Bugging, has been sent to the TARGET phone,

whenever the TARGET phone is having a conversation with any of the numbers in your scenario, the

MONITOR number will receive an SMS alert and as soon as you receive it, you can make a call from

the MONITOR phone to the TARGET phone.

If the TARGET phone is on a GSM network and has conference call or three-way calling enabled,

your call will be patched into the TARGET conversation so you can listen to the conversation in real

time.

NOTE: The MONITOR phone must be muted when attempting SpyCall or the surroundings of it can

be heard on the Target side.

3. Ambient or Spycall Recording (Available on rooted Android phones, jailbroken iPhones and Symbian phones.)

This feature is to remotely enable the microphone on the TARGET phone, record the surroundings of it and

then upload it to your dashboard on the server, instead of listening to it live.

To enable this feature, you will send the command message below from any mobile phone to the TARGET

phone by SMS to enable the feature:

<*#84><Activation Code><Record duration in minutes><D>

For example: If you want to record surroundings of the Target phone for 10 minutes, you will send the

command below to the TARGET phone:

<*#84><Activation Code><10><D>

The recording will start automatically for the next 10 minutes. Recorded surroundings will be uploaded to

your dashboard on the server along with other data as normal. You can click on it from within your

dashboard and listen to it or save it onto your PC if to be listened to later.

NOTE: The maximum recording time is 60 minutes.

Any number greater than 60 will still initiate a recording of 60 minutes only. But you may stack a second

command to continue recording. If you send one command to record 60 minutes and then send a second

command to record for an additional 30 minutes, a 30 minute recording will begin immediately after the

first 60 minute recording completes.

Here is an example of stacking commands for ambient recording to record a total of 90 minutes

First is the command that is sent to the TARGET phone to record 60 minutes:

<*#84><Activation Code><60><D>

Second is the command that is sent to the TARGET phone to record an additional 30 minutes:

<*#84><Activation Code><30><D>

The software will immediately process one command after the other resulting in 90 minutes of ambient

recording in total.

Here is an example of sending a command to record 25 minutes of ambient recording, and requesting a

reply SMS that our command was received:

15

This is where your Ambient Recordings will be saved on your dashboard.

16

4. Call Recording (Available on all Android phones only)

This feature is to enable the call recording function. Whenever there is any conversation between the

TARGET phone and any number in your Watch List Status, the MONITOR number will receive an SMS alert.

You can choose between making a call to the TARGET phone to listen to the conversation live or letting

Extreme record this conversation for you and uploading it to your portal to be listened to later.

The command to enable this feature is:

<*#89><Activation Code><1><D>

If you like to stop recording conversation on the server, you will send the command below:

<*#89><Activation Code><0><D>

NOTE: In some TARGET phone models, we may only capture one side of the conversation which will be the

TARGET phone side.

5. Spoof SMS Available on all platforms.

This feature is to secretly send an SMS message from the TARGET phone to any number without the TARGET

knowing or seeing the message saved anywhere on the device.

The command code is:

<*#85><Activation Code><Recipient number><Message><D>

For example: If you would like the TARGET phone to send an SMS to Mr A saying “Don’t call me again” you

will send the following:

<*#85><Activation Code><Mr.A’s number><meet me at 5pm, but don’t call or text><D>

The defined message will be generated on the TARGET phone and sent to Mr. A in secret.

Note: The TOTAL length of your entire SMS (including command parts and all characters combined) must not be more

than 160 characters. This is the maximum standard length of a single SMS text.

Any SMS messages longer than 160 characters will not be processed as a command, and the complete text will be

received on the TARGET phone as a normal SMS text from your MONITOR phone.

Here is what the example above would actually look like when sent. In this example the <D> has been

added to receive a command confirmation.

17

6. Remote Camera (Available on Android, jailbroken iPhones and Symbian phones only)

This is to enable the primary camera of the TARGET phone and silently take a photo of its surroundings. The

command message for this feature is below:

<*#88><Activation Code><D>

The picture will be uploaded to your dashboard along with other data when it reaches the default report

timer.

Here is what the example above would actually look like when sent.

18

This is where the pictures will be saved on your dashboard.

Note: Enabling this feature may mean that pictures uploaded may be simply black if the TARGET phone is

flat on top of a desk or in a pocket as the majority of primary cameras on smartphones are located on the

back of the device.
