Ron Nieman, President Sanford Rose Associates® - Dallas North

Ron Nieman is the President and owner of Sanford Rose

Associates – Dallas North, an executive search �rm �lling mid to

senior-level positions within technology industries. Founded in

1959, the Sanford Rose Associates (“SRA”) organization serves the

needs of corporate and institutional clients from over sixty

worldwide o�ces. Ron has successfully placed professionals at all

levels in diverse disciplines. Ron has been recognized for his

recruiting e�orts and has received numerous awards. In addition

to his executive search expertise, Ron has over thirty years of

general management, technical management and

marketing/sales experience in telecommunications and IT. He has

held senior positions with multinational corporations and

start-up companies.

Ron began his telecommunications career in 1980 with VMX Inc.,

the inventor and pioneer of voice messaging technology. He sold the �rst large-scale messaging and networked systems to many of

the Fortune 500 companies in the United States. After VMX, Inc. Ron helped build Aspect Telecommunications, a San Jose based

start-up. As Central Region Director, his contributions were instrumental in helping the company with their Initial Public O�ering.

Holding several leadership positions at Nortel, Ron focused on their application suite and was responsible for hiring and managing

a large sta�. As a corporate o�cer with Sensormatic Electronics, Ron managed the Asia-Paci�c operations in Singapore as well as

the $300M video division located in San Diego. He lent his expertise to Remote Video as the CEO in Irvine California and then

returned to Texas to be the Senior Vice President of the products group at Intervoice in Dallas. Ron has been involved in 5 start-up

companies in technology.

Ron earned his Bachelor Degree in English from The University of Texas at Arlington, and his M.B.A. from the University of North

Texas. Most recently he has earned his Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University. Having lived all over the world, Ron has

settled in the Dallas area. Ron is also an enthusiastic Private Pilot, a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and

enjoys �ying to new places. Ron enjoys �tness and spending time with his 5 grandchildren.
