BACKGROUND : The purpose of this request is to split Lot 16A of the University Mall Plat A UPlace Subdivision into two lots. The new subdivision will then be called University Mall UPlace Aston Court Subdivision Plat A and will contain five lots. Aston Court is the name of the development of the four apartment buildings which recently received site plan approval. The original Lot 16A is proposed to be split into Lot 16A and Lot 16B. The exterior boundary of the new subdivision remains the same as the old subdivision. RECOMMENDATION : The Development Review Committee has determined this request complies with all applicable City Codes. The Project Coordinator recommends the Planning Commission vacate University Mall Plat A UPlace Subdivision and approve the final plat of University Mall UPlace Aston Court Subdivision Plat A at 1000 South 800 East in the PD34 zone.

ACTION :The Planning Commission shall find that the plat vacation will not harm adjacent property owners. The Planning Commission is the final approving authority of this request.
