PRESS RELEASEA delegation of Kmr Valley SKO whole sale dealers association lead by Haji Manzoor Ah Rafiquee & Haji M. Ramzan Rathir met the Director CA&PD department Mr B.A. Khan on 24th of February 2014 in his office chambers & expressed appreciation, pleasure on behalf of the association for assuming the charge of Director CA&PD department Kashmir. The delegation foresees a positive & constructive streamlining of the delivery system of the essential commodities beneficial to the masses under his dynamic leadership. Welcoming the new Director the delegation reaffirmed commitment of cooperation with the department in their endeavor to provide hassle free service to the general public. The Hon’ble Director assured to delegation for early dispatch of monthly SKO rosters latest by 2nd of each month & further a quarterly roster from the month of April 2014 being under his consideration. The delegation expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Director Mr Bashir Ahmed Khan & Dy. Director Mr. Sajad Naqash for initiating action against the practice of late roster syndrome from the concerned quarters which is the only big hurdle in the lifting performance of the whole sale dealers & has been a long pending demand of the fraternity to rectify. The Delegation was overwhelmed by the politeness, simplicity & humility of the Hon’ble Director & has reiterated/ pledged their cooperation to the new chair in times ahead.

Sub: Filling –up of Class-IV Vaccanies- Provisional Shortlist thereof.NotificatioN No:3

This is notified for the information of all concerned that the candidates shown in the Annexure “A” to this Notification are short listed provisionally for the posts of Class-IV advertised by this office vide Notification No:1 Dated:- 27-06-2013 issued vide No: CAHO/Sgr/Estt/986-88 Dated:-27-06-2013 .1. The criteria of shortlisting of candidates for these Class-IV posts is as under a) Matric =90 points b) 10+2 = 10 points.2. The weightage has been calculated on Pro-rata basis with reference to %age of marks obtained in Matric

examination and 10 points awarded to 10+2 examination passed.The formula to calculate points for each examination is given below.

i) (Matric %age x Total Points /100) ii) (Points awarded for 10+2 qualification = 10)3. The cut points for each category are hereby notified as under: Open Merit (OM)= 75.70 RBA = 45.28 Schedule tribe (S.T)= 33.30 Schedule Caste (SC)= 49.24 In case any candidate whose name does not figure in the shortlist and has got points more than or equal to

the cut point is advised to submit his/her claim through an application to this office alongwith all relevant documents by or before 28-02-2014 during office hours failing which no claim shall be entertained after the expiry of the stipulated date.

The candidates shown in Annexure “A” to this Notification are shortlisted in the ratio 1 : 5 each category.4. Mere figuring of name in the list does not entitle the candidate to appear in the interview as it shall be subject

to the scrutiny of all testimonials of the candidates shortlisted . In case of any deficiency with reference to eligibility etc is proved at the time of interview , or if any deficiency is found subsequently ,the candidate shall not be allowed to appear in the interview and accordingly he/she shall not be considered for selection and will be treated as disqualified .

5. The candidates shall have to produce all original certificates /testimonials at the time of interview .The candidates who fail to produce such certificates /documents may forefeit their candidature.

6. Any candidate found guilty of impersonating or submitting fabricated /tampered documents or making false , incorrect or suppressing material information shall render him /her liable for criminal prosecution under law and may be debarred for consideration for all recruitments made by this office.

7. The candidates shall have to bring one set of Photostat copies of all relevant certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer alongwith at the time of interview in addition to original documents .

8. The interview date shall be notified separately through print media only and no call letter shall be issued separately to any candidate whose name figures in the short list.
