How to Create a Work Order
Step 1: Work Order Tab – Create New
Step 2: Fill in Discrepancy
Step 3: Fill Equipment by Location
Step 4: Equipment
Step 5: Priority
Step 5: Priority (Cont.)
• 1 – Urgent:• Hard-Down Equipment (INOP).• Failure of safety devices.• Unsafe operation.• Fixed immediately.
• 2 – Priority:• Partial loss of functionality not affecting safe operation.• Slight adverse affects on quality of products.• Fixed during next scheduled down time.
• 3 – Normal:• Issues not affecting day-to-day operations.• Fixed during next hard-down.
• 4 – Low:• Issues to be repaired when no other priorities exist.
• 5 – None:• Shall never be used.• All maintenance actions must have a priority code to be passed to maintenance personnel.

• Corrective• To correct a discrepancy.
• Repeat• “Fixed” and signed off by maintenance only to materialize again
shortly.• Project
• Special projects not pertaining to corrective actions on machinery.• Cleaning
• Cleaning machinery or facilities.• PM
• Conducting Preventative Maintenance.

• Be descriptive of additional details.• Location of discrepant part on machine.• History of issue.• Desired end-state.• Ordering info for part (when necessary).

• Actions Heading:• CMP = Complete.• QCMP = DO NOT EVER USE.• CNX = Cancel (only use if Maintenance is no longer required).

• Be descriptive of additional details.• What was done to repair the issue.• Issues experienced in the process of repair.• Who was on the job.• Serno of replacement part (when applicable).
