Welcome to Sri Sri University, Faculty of Good Governance (SSU-FGG)

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is quoted saying ‘There is a need to spiritualize politics, socialize business and secularize religion to make this world a better place to live’. The Faculty of Good Governance at SSU took shape with this strong conviction.

SSU-FGG intends to create ethical professionals who will be the future political leaders, CSR managers in corporate, NGO leaders, administrators, public relation managers and visionary policy think tank of the world. Good Governance has wider connotations in the present world order. A sound public policy is required for progress and development of any country and can only emanate from experts who have researched in that field. Due to the complex nature of world order and technological developments, elected representatives in democracies depend heavily on public policy technocrats, who solve the problem not only with impartiality but with a scientific temper.

We believe that Sri Sri University-Faculty of Good Governance is emerging as a vibrant citadel of learning, where students across the world would engage in researching pressing policy issues of the time, learn the nuances of real policy making, and come up with solutions for the well-being of the planet. In the course of two years, the graduates will acquire required career skills and competencies. The graduates will be much sought after not only by the government and public institutions but also by the private sector, civil society organizations, policy research institutions, think tanks and media.

We have great pleasure in inviting students to join us in this unique and adventurous journey to become governance and public policy professionals. Let us be prepared to face the challenges of the world.

An exciting career is waiting for you!

“ “Governance is an art that requires a plethora of skills. One needs to have the right observation, right perception and right expression to be an able administrator. It requires the right balance of sensibility and sensitivity. One needs a sound analytical mind to make judgments and also the ability to connect with people of all backgrounds. There is a dire need for systems of efficient governance today. This faculty at our university is the first of its kind in the country and has been envisioned to address this need. I am sure that it will go a long way in building a better India. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
