Diane Soik and her husband Charlie Burnham have been parishioners at St. Alice since 2013. Diane is a Nurse Practitioner with PeachHealth

Medical Group . She is an organized, enthusiastic, and dedicated volunteer. Diane serves as co-chair of the Pastoral Council, which advises and assists Fr. Mark in meeting pastoral priorities. The Council was instrumental in our CCS Conestoga Hut project. Diane is also a member of the leadership team for the St. Alice Saint Vincent de Paul Conference. Thank you, Diane, for the dynamic initiatives you bring to St. Alice!

Sacristans of St. Therese Guild

The newly formed Sacristans of St. Therese Guild is open to all girls who have received their

First Communion.

This group of young girls will help set up for Mass by preparing the chalices, ciboria, and vestments, and

serve in the sacristy before and after Mass.

El recién formado grupo de Sacristans de Sta. Therese Guild está abierta a todas las niñas que

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

St. Jude Parish in Eugene is starting a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd religious education program in October. This unique, Montessori-inspired program will offer religious education for children ages 3 to 6 years of age. Any interested families should attend the information night on Saturday September 28 at 6:00 PM at St. Jude Parish in Eugene.

Ex Corde Christi

St. Alice Catholic Church will be hosting a Catholic homeschool

cooperative called Ex Corde Christi (From the Heart of Christ) that will

begin meeting twice per month here at the church in October. For more infor-mation, call Angela in the parish office.

BRING ON THE BUCKET BRIGADE!!

The St. Alice Conference Bucket Brigade will accept donations on September 28th and 29th after masses. St. Alice has had an active St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) conference since the 1950s, serving the poor of our area by making home visits and providing SVdP store vouchers for clothes, household items, and beds. We are able to do this through the generous support of the members of St. Alice Parish.
