Hopefully many of you will be able to come to the
church this Sunday, 10/18, from 10:30 to 11:30 to enjoy getting together. It’s been much too
long!!! If you’re able to be there, please be sure to take a few minutes to look at the new
retaining wall and engraved capping blocks down the stairs toward the playground. A huge thank
you to Val Barbosa for making this possible.

Our 12th Annual Golf Classic was an amazing day. The weather was perfect, participants had
fun, and everyone was so happy to be able to socialize while being safe. And you'll be happy to
hear that we made approximately $26,500 to help support the missions and ministries of our
church. Thank you to the Golf Committee, our sponsors, and everyone who made this event
such a great success.

WAYS TO GIVE saumcnj.org/giving online
Folks, with all that we have to be
concerned about, please don’t
forget your support of St. Andrew’s. While we won’t be
attending church services for a while, the expenses of the church
will continue. There are many ways to continue your support –
online at saumcnj.org/giving online
(click “Online Giving” at the top banner), set up automatic
donations through your bank, or old fashion “snail mail”.
Thank You!

10 IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
• Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering
wheel" that directs the right path
throughout. • Do you know why a car's windshield is
large and the rearview mirror is so small? Because our past is not as important as
our future. So, look ahead and move on.
• Friendship is like a book. It takes few
seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.
• All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If
going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either.

• Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don't
forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of
Gold! • Often when we lose hope and think this is
the end, God smiles from above and says, "Relax, it's just a bend, not the
end! • When God solves your problems, you have
faith in God's abilities; when God doesn't solve your problems, God has faith in
your abilities.
• A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse than losing
eyesight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"
• When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes,
when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.
• Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles, it takes away today's Peace.
