It is there in His Eucharist that He says to me:
"I thirst, thirst for your love, your sacrifices,
your sufferings. I thirst for your happiness, for
it was to save you that I came into the world,
that I suffered and died on the Cross, and in
order to console and strengthen you I le3 you
the Eucharist. So you have there all My life, all
My tenderness." Mother Mary of Jesus,
foundress of the Sisters of Marie Reparatrice

“Say No to ROE”

The state legislature has extended the session un%l January 5th,
2021. Please remind the members of the Joint Commi<ee on Judici-
ary that you oppose the expansion of abor%on in Massachuse<s.
Please call the Commi<ee at 6177222396 and let them know you
are opposed to H3320 and S1209 the ROE legisla%on. Every tele-
phone call helps!

Remember these bills would remove:

·The requirement that young girls obtain consent before an abor%on

·The requirement that efforts be made to save a living baby who
survives abor%on

·The requirement that late term abor%ons be performed in hospitals

·And the bills would allow abor%on on demand for all nine months
of pregnancy.

For more informa%on about how the ROE legisla-
%on would expand abor%on in Massachuse<s visit

WEEK OF OCT. 18TH
We sll need teachers for the Religious Educaon
program. If volunteering to teach or coteach is
something you think you might enjoy or feel called to
do, please reach out to Cathy Bowes @ 781925
5446 or [email protected] .

It is a wonderful way to grow in faith, serve the par-
ish, and touch the lives of young people. What has
worked well in the past, is to coteach with another
adult, this can lessen the me commitment for both
volunteers. Parents/Grandparents who volunteer as
teachers will receive free tuion for one child.
Don’t forget to REGISTER for Religious Educaon!!

To register your student(s), click here or go to h<ps://

St Paul Parish has been offering the New Day Bereavement Support
Group for over ten years immediately following Labor Day. New Day
is a spiritually based program of psychoeducaon that eases the grief
experience and is a valuable asset to the community including those
who are not Catholic. However, we must postpone this year’s ses-
sions unl at least 2021 because of the restricons about social
meengs. When we resume, we will have an introductory open
house and ten meengs of 90 minutes every two weeks.

If you or someone you know has experienced a loss, we ask that you
contact us so that we might nofy you when we start. If you have
quesons, call Jack Rayburn.

CHRIST BY THE SEA VOCATIONS COMMITTEE
Today we wish to recognize those who not only support our parish, but also have made a gi3 or
pledge to the 2020 Catholic Appeal. Every gi3, regardless of the size, is meaningful and can make
an impact. Especially during these challenging %mes, your par%cipa%on in our parish Appeal is very
much appreciated by our parish and the thousands that are served through the Archdiocesan Cen-
tral Ministries. This is our Church and when you support the Appeal, you support us!

Those who made a pledge to the Catholic Appeal are reminded to pay their balance in full before
the end of the year. If you wish to make a payment towards your pledge online, visit www.bostoncatholicappeal.org.
If you have any ques%ons about your pledge or payments, please call the Catholic Appeal Office at 6177793700.

We recognize that many of you may be naviga%ng your own financial challenges but ask for your prayerful considera-
%on of a gi3 to the 2020 Catholic Appeal at whatever level is comfortable for you. If you have not received a Catholic
Appeal le<er or email request, dona%ons can be made on line at www.bostoncatholicappeal.org.

Remember that when our Parish exceeds its goal, a percentage of any addi%onal funds received is returned for use in
our Parish. When each of our individual gi3s are combined with the gi3s of thousands of other parishioners through-
out the Archdiocese, each contributor makes a very real difference in the ability of the Archdiocese to provide minis-
tries and services.

This is our Church. Thank you again for your support!
