We are excited to announce two new members of our staff: Maria Gietzen, our new Religious Education Coordinator, and April Mitchell, our new Communications, Events, and Technology Coordinator. Thank you for reaching out and rejoicing with a fellow parishioner! CATHOLICISM 101: ALL ARE WELCOME! Fr. Courtright is offering Baltimore Catechism classes weekly this summer. They are open to all who are interested in growing in knowledge of the Catholic faith, whether Catholic or not. Classes are Wednesdays, start at 7:00 PM, and run for 90 minutes. CONFRATERNITY OF CHRISTIAN MOTHERS is starting their Saint Anthony's chapter back up! COUNSELING CLINICIAN NEEDED Catholic Charities North Dakota, an accredited social service and licensed child welfare agency, is seeking a full-time Counseling Clinician for our Fargo office. THE 62ND ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE TO THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF THE PRAIRIES will take place at the Carmel of Mary Monastery, Wahpeton, on Sunday August 12, starting at 2:00 PM. The day includes: guest speaker, Father Ross Laframboise, the sacrament of Reconciliation, a Rosary walk, an outdoor Mass with Bishop John Folda at 5:00 PM, and a picnic-style meal (free-will offering) to finish the day and send the pilgrims home. Pilgrims are encouraged to bring their prayer intentions for the Carmelites and any produce they wish to donate in thanksgiving. Volunteers accompany the elderly for a few hours while caretakers get a chance to rest. The commitment is approximately 10 hours a week for a year (hours can be shifted between weeks) and includes a monthly living allowance and educational stipend upon completion. A volunteer meeting and training will take place at Our Saviors Lutheran in Moorhead on July 25 from 11:00-12:00 PM.
