HOLIDAY PROGRAM
St Anthony’s School offers an active, creative and
fun Vacation Care Program with a diverse range
of activities for St Anthony’s School students.
In addition to themed activities and planned
incursions, the children will have the opportunity
to play and explore the school playground,
music room, performing arts room, resource
centre, computers, tennis courts and kitchen.
A range of activities, entertainment and an afternoon snack
is provided for your child. All children must bring a packed
lunch (unless booked in for a special lunch day), recess and
a drink bottle. Please have your child dressed appropriately
for indoor and outdoor activities.
Enclosed footwear and a hat is required at all
times

Vacation Care Cancellation Policy
Once bookings are made, your booking will be
final and we cannot transfer or delete days
without a medical certificate.
This is to cover staffing, catering, activities and
expenses. You are still required to pay $10
per child per day deposit to secure your
booking.
The cost is $50.00 per child per day except for
16th, 20th and 23rd of December and 19th, 23rd
25th, and 27th of January which will have an
additional cost of $5.00 per child for a special lunch
and excursion.
All bookings made after the permanent cut-off day
12/12/16 will be charged at the casual rate of
$55.00. All Figures are before CCB allocation.
Children are expected to bring their own lunch,
recess, drink bottle, hat and enclosed footwear
unless otherwise stipulated.
Summer holiday bookings are now open. Places are
limited so please complete the booking form overleaf
and pay your $10 deposit per child per day at the
office to secure your child's place.

A Trip to the North Pole Day Thursday 15/12/16
Today we are bringing the North Pole to St Anthony’s
OSHC. We will be decorating the OSHC House and
putting up the Christmas tree. We will be making fake
snow, Christmas Bells and a Giant Wreath.
Build a Bear Day Friday 16/12/16
Today everyone will be making and taking home their
very own soft toy. Each soft toy comes with it’s own
birth certificate. We will also make our own ginger
bread bear cookies. $5 additional cost for soft toy
Christmas Decorating Day Monday 19/12/16
Today we are getting into the Christmas spirit and
making decorations to take home and decorate your
tree and we will be making a snowman made out of
candles.

Water Jumpy Castle Tuesday 20/12/16
Shark attack!!! Today we are having the extremely
popular Shark attack water slide jumpy castle. Please
bringing your bathers, rash top and board shorts.
To ride the waterslide it is a requirement from Jump First
Jumpy Castles that everyone wears
shorts or board shorts while on the
slide and it is and OSHC requirement
that everyone wears a T-shirt or rash
top while on the slide. $ 5 additional
cost.
Christmas Cooking Day Wednesday 21/12/16
We hope you’re hungry today we are making Christmas
tree brownies, chocolate reindeers, melted snowmen
and Christmas wreath cup cakes.
Christmas Present Making Thursday 22/12/16
Today we will be making Christmas presents and every
child will take a wrapped gift to give to someone special
at home.
Christmas Movies and Craft Friday 23/12/16
We are celebrating the last day of the year with
Christmas movies, Christmas craft and a Special Subway
lunch. $ 5 additional cost for lunch.

Summer Luau Day Monday 16/1/17
Aloha! Today we are bringing the beach to OSHC with
sand, sun, and tropical themed ice-creams. With
weather permitting please bring a change of clothes and
we will have a water balloon fight in the OSHC garden.
* Bathers will need to be covered with a rash top or spare
T-shirt and shorts.
Chocolate Cooking Day Tuesday 17/1/17
To all chocolate fans!! Today we are cooking with
chocolate and we are making our own chocolates to
take home.
Spooky Day Wednesday 18/1/17
Boo!! Today is going to get spooky, come dressed up and
we will have face paint, Spider drinks, games and spooky
themed cup cakes to take home.
Magic Work Shop Day Thursday 19/1/17
Get Excited!! As we are having a Balloon twisting work
shop and each child will learn how to make a balloon
twisted creation. We will then spend the rest of the day
learning magic tricks from the one and only Amazing
Magic Mike Magician $5 additional cost. Balloon twisting
Workshop and Magic Workshop will be hosted by the
Amazing Magic Mike from 9.30am—4.30pm.
Pirate Day Friday 20/1/17
Ahoy Matey, come dressed as a Pirate today and we will
look for St Anthony’s lost Treasure, maker your very own
Pirate map, face painting and much more.
Water Slide Glacier Day Monday 23/1/17
Starting the last Monday of the school holidays right
with an epic Water Slide Jumpy Castle.
Back by popular demand, book in today to ensure you
don’t miss out! To ride the waterslide it is a
requirement from Jump First Jumpy Castles that
everyone wears shorts or board shorts
while on the slide and it is an OSHC
requirement that everyone wears a T-shirt
or rash top while on the slide.

Team Challenge Day Tuesday 24/1/17
Calling out to one minute to win it fans and world
record fans. Today is St Anthony’s OSHC Team
Challenge day. We will have group Challenges, sand
pit challenges and building challenges.
Australia Day BBQ Wednesday 25/1/17
Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!!! Today we will have a
sausage sizzle BBQ for lunch, group party games and
more.
$5 Additional cost for lunch

Today we will be making our own Sushi for lunch.
With traditional Japanese craft and some popular
Japanese cartoon movies. $5 additional cost for

St Anthony’s Vacation Care is for St Anthony’s School
community (Reception-Year Five.)
Children who are enrolled to start school in February
2017 are able to attend in the summer holidays before
school starting. December-January Holidays.
Once children have completed Year 5 and are enrolled to
start middle school they are able to attend St Anthony’s
OSHC and Vacation Care until the end of January holidays
27/1/17.
Children will need to bring their own recess, lunch, hat
and water bottle each day.
Please be mindful that we are not in a position to heat up
or prepare lunches other than specified days where lunch
has been advertised as a part of our program.
A snack will be provided in the afternoon each day as it is
provided during OSHC.
Children need to wear closed in shoes each day. During
summer enclosed sandals can be worn.
Thongs are not acceptable footwear and parents will be
asked to return home to collect the correct footwear if
this occurs.
Sunscreen is available at the house for children to apply
each day.
During summer Vacation Care it is our hot weather policy
No hat, No outside play.
