Divine Mercy Celebration Sunday, April 28, 2019, 3-4 PM, St. John Church in Leo-pold, MO. This celebration will include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet, praying of prayers written by St. Faustina, and blessing and reverencing a beautiful image of Divine Mercy. The Sacrament of Confession will be available during the Holy Hour. A Plenary Indulgence is available for those who fulfill the necessary requirements on that day. St. Joseph CCW The St Joseph CCW will have a Birthright Baby Shower on April 24th at 6pm! Our meeting will start at 5 so we can finish it before Birthright Director, Kim Sellers, gives us some information about Birthright in our area. DCCW Project for the year Donations are being accepted for the DCCW Project, Free-dom’s Rest, a discreet shelter for domestic violence victims in Ozark County. There will be a basket in the entrance of church by April 26th to collect any of the following: blan-kets, twin/full sheets, bed pillows, towels, laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, diapers, wipes, women’s/children’s pajamas, socks and underwear.

St. Anne’s Sodality Snip-its Thank you to the ladies who offered to run or considered it for a later date. Elections were held for the office of Vice President and Treasurer. Laura Higgerson was elect-ed Vice President and Lilian Emmons Treasurer. Chris-tine Estes will continue as Secretary and I will continue as President for another year. Installation of our new officers will take place at our May meeting. Thank you to the ladies who offered to run or considered it for a later date, we may call you again in the future. Just a reminder in case you missed it last week, there will not be a spring dinner, so donations are being collected; and you have choice on how to turn in your donation after designating it to the Ladies Sodality Spring Dinner. Confirmation News!! St. Augustine and St. Joseph Parishes are beginning preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation. A team meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at St. Augustine Parish Center at 6:30 PM to go over the schedule and have dinner. Team members from both parishes are asked to attend. A meeting with all parents and students of both par-ishes will take place after 6 PM Mass on May 11th at St. Augustine in the Church. This meeting will in-clude an overview of the schedule and requirements. Students currently in Grades 5 through 10 (who have not already been confirmed) are eligible to participate. Also open to anyone older than Grade 10 who has not yet been confirmed.
