He summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and under-stand. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile." - Mark 7:14-15

Parish Book Club Meeting
Monday, September 10th
6:30 PM in the parish center
On Monday, Sept. 10th, the Club will discuss their thoughts on “The Sanctuary Sparrow” by Ellis Peters -- another great “who-done-it” based in 12th century England and solved by the illustrious Brother Cadfael. If you enjoyed this one, there are 19 other Cadfael novels to explore.
The next book: “The Divine Dance: The Trinity & Your Transformation” by Richard Rohr & Mike Morrell is “... simply about God's love for all of Creation and especially for humanity, all of us. No one is excluded. Oriented around the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Rohr draws heavily from Scripture from both the Old and New Testaments. For anyone wanting to connect or reconnect with God, try this book.”-- Amazon.com customer review
We’ll discuss “The Divine Dance” at the following Book Club meeting on Monday, November 12th. Please come and share with us. We are an informal club which welcomes “drop-in” readers. Remember: “The book is always open!”
