Per- mission slips are due on or before Febru- ary 10th. Permission slips were given out in class, and can be found online. If you have any ques- tions please contact Katie Sukley. In Parish Service Project Volunteer Opportunity: Anyone in need of of an In Parish Service Project is invited to vol- unteer at the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner on March 5. First Communion Banners: The First Communion Banner kits were distributed to all 2nd Grade students in their classes. Please start working on your child's banner for First Communion. If you did not re- ceive a banner kit please stop by and pick one up from the Religious Ed Office. Congratulations to the children Baptized this month: Evelyn Betancourt Elaina Jones Paige Snider We will meet again on February 28th. Thanks to all of you who volunteered to help with Night to Shine. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the turnout from our youth! We are very proud of you for stepping up. Our next Life Teen meeting will be on February 24th from 6-8pm in the church hall. We will be discussing how Night to Shine went, so bring your stories from the night to share. Pizza and drinks will be provided. On Monday March 4th we are going to participate in the Mary- land March for Life in Annapolis. It starts with a youth rally at 4:30pm at St Mary's 109 Duke Of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401 . from our youth! We are very proud of you

for stepping up.

Our next Life Teen meeting will be on February 24th from 6-8pm

Outreach To love our neighbor is the second Great Commandment! The St Christopher’s Parish shows that 3 days a week by hav-ing our OUTREACH office and Food Bank available to those in need. The St Christopher’s food bank is in need of boxed cereal, instant oatmeal (individual packs), and individual cold cereal packs

for the kids backpack program (we are now up to 24 chil-dren).

“...if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing...” (1 Cor 13:2)

Haven Ministries Homeless Shelter continues to be busy this winter season, operating at full capacity. Our church will again be providing volunteers in April. Volunteers are still needed. Sign -ups are on the rolling bulletin board in the Hall. We are in need of Clorox wipes, box of plastic food gloves, sandwich bags and PIL-

LOWS. Contact below to donate!

Haven Ministries Food Pantries were held Friday, Feb. 15th. 145 people received food to take back to their families, representing 314 total in their households. Folks received: chicken, deer meat, hot dogs, breads, beverages, mac & cheese, winter items, canned veggies, fruit, & meats, and a variety of donated foods. A special thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped with these food pan-tries! To volunteer, please sign up at haven-ministries.org under the tab: Other Ways We Help/ Food Pantries. The next one will be March 15 from 5:30-7pm at two locations: Safe Harbor Presbyter-ian Church, Stevensville for KI area residents and Centreville United Methodist Church, Centreville for North County residents.
