“The Tour” is held annually on Mother’s Day weekend.

Forty-four outstanding potters have been invited from around the nation to converge at the studios of seven local potters. This springtime “open house” is known for its hospitality and the quality, quantity, and distinctive character of the pottery presented for sale.

Rain or shine, indoors, outdoors, and under tents, the assembled variety of pottery can make for memorable connections between the makers, users, and collectors of handmade pots. Each potter brings a large body of work and appreciates meeting the many pottery-savvy visitors who anticipate the weekend.

All seven studios are within a one-hour drive of Minneapolis and St. Paul and each location is a short drive from the others. Bring a friend to share the experience and visit some or all seven studios in one day.
