& clear contact paper • play dough • dry erase and regular colored markers • masking, clear (Scotch-type), & packing

tape • children’s scissors • pull-up style diapers for 3-4 year olds !These supplies are urgently needed. Places like Target and Wal-Mart have deep discounts on school supplies right now. !What we gather will be given to the kindergarten classroom of teacher Charlie Neumann, Auer Avenue Elementary School in Milwaukee.

At the August Outreach Committee Meeting, the following was approved:!!$100 - Lazarus Foundation, Janesville providing housing, case-management and life skills training for at-risk homeless men. Adjacent to Trinity Episcopal Church.!!$250 - Episcopal Relief and Development!for water and cistern projects!!School Supply Ingathering - for kindergartners in the Auer Avenue Elementary School, Milwaukee!!Food Pantry - November 4 & 6 - volunteer sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board.!!Entertainment Books are on sale, profit benefitting Outreach. Outreach members will sell the books to the wider community.!!Saint Francis Community Service (Salina, Kansas) - matching funds (with the Men’s Club) will be donated to for their Christmas Needs.!!Giving Tree - will be up on November 1st. The Gifts will go to Menomonee Falls School

A Place for Parents and Wee Ones

We are transforming an area at the back of the church into a family-friendly area for parents and their youngsters. !Our wish list for the area includes

+ a small, short bookcase

+ a 4’x6’ very gently used (or new) area rug suitable for a child’s space

GROWING IN THE FAITH FALL 2014

!Sundays, following the service, Sue Clark+ will facilitate a short (30 minute) reflection on the morning’s lessons and sermon. How do you think the lessons fit together? Is there a theme? What did the preacher pick up on? Use your bulletin during the service, underline words, take notes. Then, come together in the Hearth Room to grow in the faith.!

!Wednesday Evening Supper and Study, Craig Korn will continue to facilitate Bible study, this time focusing on the book of Proverbs. Lightening up on the homework of recent studies, this time will be a reflection upon and discussion of the wisdom recorded in this book as we read along together. As in the past,come at!

6pm with a brown bag supper, discussion begins at 6:30
