AUG - OCT 2015

We’re very excited that Miss-Leading Ladies, starring the sensational Ria Jones and Ceri Dupree, will run in the Studio for almost the entire month of August. Expect glamorous costumes and show stopping numbers galore, the perfect show for a summer evening. Then a star of a very different kind, David Baddiel, brings us his hilarious and thought provoking observations on life in a brand new work-in-progress at the beginning of September. The Other Mozart follows in mid-September, telling the true yet untold story of Nannerl Mozart, sister of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It has been a huge success in New York and across Europe – celebrated for its striking design and fascinating story.

Following this, acclaimed drummer Pedro Segundo brings us his first solo project, Matt Forde returns with his wildly popular Political Party, Sue Kelvin presents the life and songs of Bette Midler and Mark Billingham joins forces with My Darling Clementine for a night of crime fiction and country music in The Other Half.

In October Jonathan Reid Gealt returns for the release of his new album Whatever I Want It To Be, Stuart Matthew Price celebrates the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber and, following two sell out performances as part of the London Festival of Cabaret, Jamie Parker is back with a celebration of the great composer Frank Loesser.

In the week leading up to Halloween, Butterfly bring us an exciting addition to lunchtime theatre with a re-telling of the ultimate gothic tale, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, and we end the month with the world stage premiere of The Phantom Raspberry Blower by the iconic Spike Milligan.

You can find further details of all of these shows – and many more – in the pages of this brochure. All in all we’ve got a very busy and exciting autumn ahead of us and I hope to see and speak to many of you in the St. James Studio soon.
