Second, Podcasts Podcasts are a great way to listen to sermons and meditations when you want to and where you want to. All Sermons and Midweek Meditations are transferred onto a podcast called “The Anglican Angle from Shaughnessy”. You can use your browser to go to https://stjohnsshaughnessy.buzzsprout.com choose the podcast service you want to use or you can pick your podcast service and search for “The Anglican Angle from Shaughnessy”. You can also just select from the episode list at https://stjohnsshaughnessy.buzzsprout.com and listen on your computer or device directly.

Third, ZOOM Getting to ZOOM ZOOM is a service that allows many people to see each other and speak to each other. For virtual coffee hour a meeting is set up and everyone is invited to join in. A moderator keeps track of what is going on and can help you once you are part of the meeting. Typically, this involves muting your microphone or turning your camera on and off. Every we send out a new link to the meeting that you can use in your browser to get ZOOM going. While ZOOM uses a very long web address that is difficult to enter, we have provided a quick link for you to use. You will find it in your Parish Bulletin. For example, the May 3, 2020 the address is  http://bit.ly/sjscoffee0503 with new ones every week. Pro tips:

When ZOOM asks you if you would like to download software you can say yes. Use your computer’s audio when asked. Click on “Gallery mode” to see as many people as possible on your screen. Try to mute your audio when you are not speaking and remember to unmute when you want to jump in!
