    16,000 ft 2 of new condominium space for Freedom House, aveterans housing and support services organization managed byFamily & Community Services, Inc.9,214 ft 2 to Summit Academy, a charter school for autisticchildren9,214 ft 2 for an assisted care living facility

    South Shore will demolish theparking garage, Building D, thrift

    shop, and the Reidy-ScanlanBuildingThese properties will be converted to greenspace and surface parking lots and will helpopen up and transform this facility into amore campus-like setting

    Served as a thriving medical facility for decades

    St. Joseph and Lorain Community Hospital merged

    to form Community Health Partners in the late-1990sSt. Joseph Hospital eventually closed

    Reidy-Scanlan Building was a furniture retail storeand was also used for undertaker activities

    Building currently vacant

    Thrift store was used for a variety of commercialactivities

    Current thrift store will be relocated into community center

    South Shore Community Development Corporationand Mercy Health Partners currently own parcelswithin the project area

    Mercy Health Partners will transfer property to SouthShore upon grant award

    Lorain will submit its application to the District 9 Ohio Public WorksCommission Integrating Committee

    There are no competing projects in District 9

    13 of the 19 Ohio Public Works Commission Districts receivedapplications

    All districts will prioritize projects and can send up to six projects to the Clean OhioCouncil to compete at the state levelLocally ranked projects will receive 50, 30, 15, 10, 5 and 0 based on their ranking,these points will be added to base score
