BAPTISMS / BAUTIZOS Baptisms take place the 4th Saturday of the month (September 23). Parents and both godparents will need to attend the pre-baptismal class prior to the Baptism. Pre-Baptismal classes take place the 2nd Saturday of the month at 04:00 p.m. Pick up a registration form from the office. Bring in Baptism registration form completely filled out, along with a copy of the Birth Certificate to the office between Tuesday and Friday, at least a month ahead of the date of desired Baptism. Bautismos tienen lugar el 4to sábado del mes (Los padres y los dos padrinos necesitan asistir a la clase pre-bautismal antes de su bautismo. Las clases Pre-Bautismal llevarán a cabo el 2do sábado del mes a las 04:00 p.m. ( 11 de noviembre). Pase por la oficina para obtener la hoja de inscripción. Traerla a la oficina llena, junto con la copia del Acta de Nacimiento por lo menos un mes de anticipación. The sacrament “washes and cleans”, and renews us in Christ. El sacramento de la Reconciliación es uno de los aspectos más singulares y bellos de la Iglesia Católica. Jesucristo, en Su abundante amor y misericordia, estableció el sacramento de la Confesión, para que nosotros como pecadores tuviéramos la posibilidad de obtener el perdón de nuestros pecados y reconciliarnos con Dios y la Iglesia. Jesus said to his disciples, “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. After agreeing with the laborers for the usual daily wage, he sent them into his vineyard. When he went out about nine o’clock, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace; and he said to them, “you also go into the vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.” So they went. When he went out again about noon and about three o’clock, he did the same. And about five o’clock he went out and found others standing around; and he said to them, “Why are you standing here idle all day?” They said to him, “Because no one has hired us.” He said to them, “You also go into the vineyard.” When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his man-ager, “Call the laborers and give them their pay, begin-ning with the last and then going to the first.” When those hired about five o’clock came, each of them received the usual daily wage. Now when the first came, they thought they would receive more; but each of them also received the usual daily wage. And when they received it, they grumbled against the landowner, saying, “these last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorch-ing heat.” But he replied to one of them, “Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for the usual daily wage? Take what belongs to you and go; I choose to give to this last the same as I give to you. Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or are you envious because I am generous?” So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

Our God and Father is a generous Father and there is an equality of blessings we all receive, we are rewarded by grace not a time card.

He is constantly calling us to Himself. The call is not based on when, or who, or how long we serve. The blessing is based on the graces of God and the depth of our response to His grace.

We are all equal in His sight. We should be happy about everyone who is chosen no matter who, even the least among us, or when they were cho-sen.

It is not about the time we put in, it is about the heart and love we put into the time.

How do we pray? There must be a conversion aspect to our prayer life. We need to move away from any egocen-tric behavior and embrace humility. We must give up our “false gods” and embrace Truth, and Beauty and begin our turn toward God. Accept His plan for us. Pray from a loving heart. The more deeply we are converted, the more we welcome Jesus’ Word and the deeper our prayer life becomes. The deeper our prayer life becomes, the deeper our rela-tionship with Jesus.

Jesús dijo a sus discípulos, "El Reino de los cielos es como un terrateniente que salió temprano en la mañana a contra-tar obreros para su viña. Después de acordar con los traba-jadores por el salario diario habitual, los envió a su viña. Cuando salió otra vez al mediodía y a las 3:00, hizo lo mismo. Y a las 5:00 salió y encontrór a otros y les dijo, "¿por qué están aquí ociosos todo el día?" Le dijeron: "porque nadie nos ha contratado." Él dijo, "ustedes también vayan a la Viña". Cuando llegó la noche, el dueño de la viña dijo a su geren-te, "llama a los trabajadores y dales su pago, comenzando por los últimos y luego los primeros." Cuando los contrata-dos a las 5:00 vinieron, cada uno de ellos recibió el salario diario habitual. Entonces cuando llegaron los primeros, pensaron que recibirían más; pero también cada uno de ellos recibió el salario diario habitual. Y cuando lo recibie-ron, murmuraban contra el propietario, diciendo: "éstos últimos trabajaron sólo una hora, y se han hecho iguales a nosotros que han soportado la carga del día y el calor abra-sador". Pero él le contestó a uno de ellos, "Amigo, no te estoy haciendo ningún daño, ¿no acordamos para el salario diario habitual? Lleva lo que le pertenece y ve; yo decidí dar a estos últimos lo mismo que os doy. ¿No se me permi-te hacer lo que yo quiero con lo que me pertenece? O ¿eres envidioso porque yo soy generoso?" Así los últimos serán primeros, y los primeros serán los últimos. "

Nuestro Dios y Padre es un Padre generoso y hay una igualdad en las bendiciones que todos recibimos, estamos recompensados por la gracia y no es una tarjeta de tiempo.

Él constantemente nos llama a Sí mismo. La llamada no se basa en cuándo, quién o cuánto nos sirven. La bendición se basa en la gracia de Dios y la pro-fundidad de nuestra respuesta a su gracia.

Todos somos iguales ante sus ojos. Deberíamos estar contentos todos los elegidos sin importar quién, aún menos entre nosotros, o cuando fueron elegi-dos.

No es sobre el tiempo que aportamos, es sobre el cora-zón y el amor que ponemos en el tiempo.

¿Cómo orar? Debe haber un aspecto de la conversión en nuestra vida de oración. Debemos alejarnos de cualquier

comportamiento egocéntrico y abrazar la humildad. Debe-mos renunciar a nuestros "dioses falsos" y abrazar la ver-dad y la belleza y empezar nuestra vuelta hacia Dios. Acep-tar su plan para nosotros. Orar con un corazón amoroso. Cuanto más se convierte nuestra vida de oración, más pro-funda nuestra relación con Jesús. "No hay ninguna otra forma de oración cristiana que Cristo. Si nuestra oración es

comunitaria o personal, vocal o interior, tenemos acceso al Padre sólo si oramos "en el nombre" de Jesús.
