Fourth Day of World Space Week Celebration: On fourth day of WSW celebration, “Workshop for school & college teachers was conducted. About 35 participants from various schools and colleges have taken part in the workshop. Shri D K Singh and Dr. S P Vyas were invited to give talk on “Humans presence in Space” and “Training and Research in Earth EcoSystem” respectively. Their talk followed by a very long interactive session. The teachers gained a lot about Space Science & Technology and about ISRO’s TREE programme. The local schools namely St. Kabir School, Hiramani School, Aatmiy School, St. Kabir School, SAC trainees and families from various class of society have visited the exhibition. About 1200 footfalls are registered during the day. During the day first time water Rocket launching at every hour was demonstrated to the visitors in the premises of VSSE first time. Visitors have enjoyed the Rocket launching activity. On 7th October, 200 persons have watched Mars, Venus, Saturn, Orion Nebula and Moon during sky observation in the early morning session and about 1050 visitors have observed Saturn & Moon at night. Live streaming of the sky is shown on large display kept near the entrance gate. Visitors were very excited after watching Moon. Mars, Venus, Saturn, Orion Nebula and stars Vega& Sirius.
