St. Marcellinus Parish is open for Service

We have received permission to hold public Mass, however, civil authorities require among other things that we have a plan to ensures that people are six feet apart, wear face masks, and that the assembly not exceed maximum 100 people. In addition, we are required to keep a record of all the people who gather with names and phone numbers in case an infec-tion should arise among those who attend one of our services.

We ask for your patience during this transition period and we ask you to please follow all indication for our own good.

Until prior notice, the schedule for church services:

The Blessed Sacrament chapel will be open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 12 noon and from 3:00 to 5:00 pm for private prayer from. The chapel will be closed on Sunday.

Mass Schedule Weekday Mass (Monday through Friday) will be at 6:15 pm; Saturday (vigil mass) at 5:00 pm . Wednesday and Saturday the Masses will be in English.

We will resume the Sunday mass schedule that existed before the pandemic: 8:00 (Sp), 9:30, 11, 12:30 (Sp) and 7:00 pm (Sp). All Masses will celebrated in the courtyard for the time being.

Hemos recibido permiso para tener Misa publica, sin embar-go, las autoridades civiles requieren que tengamos un plan que asegure que haya una distancia de a seis pies entre per-sonas, se usen mascarillas, y que la asamblea no pase del numero máximo de 100 personas . Además nos exigen man-tener un récord de nombres y teléfonos de las personas que se reúne por si encaso surgiera una infección de entre las persona que asisten a un de los servicios.

Le pedimos su paciencia durante este periodo de transición y que de favor que sigan todas la indicaciones para el bien de todos.

Hasta previo aviso, el horario de la Iglesia será:

La capilla del Santísimo estará abierta de 8:00 a las 12 del medio día y de 3:00– 5:00 pm para oración privada de Lunes a sábado. La capilla estará cerrada el día domingo.

Horario de Misas La Misa entre semana (lunes a viernes) será a las 6:15 pm ; la misa de vigilia del sábado a 5:00 pm el día. Los miércoles y sábados la misa será en Ingles. Intentaremos seguir el ho-rario de misas de domingo que existía antes de la pandemia: 8:00 (Sp), 9:30, 11;00, 12:30 (Sp) y 7:00 pm (Sp). Todas las misas serán en el patio por un tiempo.

♦ Además de comida, ¿de qué otras cosas se puede tener ham-bre?

♦ Conversa con Jesús y como te sientes cuando tienes mucha, muchísima hambre. Dile qué deseas mucho y qué te quistaría que ocurriere (por ejemplo, que haya paz en tu casa, o saber que alguien te quiere mucho.) Dile que quieres estar cerca de Él para no tener hambre Dile lo que quieres hacer en esta semana:

♦ Por ejemplo: Invitaré a algún compañero de escuela que parece que está solo a jugar con mi grupo.

♦ Por ejemplo: Dejaré de comer alguna golosina que me gus-ta, pero que no me hace falta y daré ese dinero para algún niño pobre.

Jesus, your friend, invites you:

♦ Jesus gives you his own bread so that you can be close to him. What do people, who are close to Jesus, do? Besides food, what other thing can you be hungry for?

What am I going to do?

Speak to Jesus and tell him how you feel when you are vary, very hungry. Tel him what you desire a lot (for instance, to be peaceful and right in your home, or knowing that someone loves you.) Tell him you want to be close to him. Tell Jesus what you would like to do this week: ♦ For example: I will invite someone who seems to be

lonely to play with me. ♦ For example: I will not eat a candy that I like but that I

don/t need and will give up the money for a child who is poor. ♦ For example: _________________________

1. Let's talk: ♦ What are our desires at this point? What are our needs as a family? What do we hunger for? 2. Read together the story on the children's page and the Bible readings for today. 3. Message for our family this week:

♦ The Lord brought the Israelites out of slavery and gave them bread in the desert.

♦ Jesus says that he is the Bread of Life. What hungers and what kinds of death do we experience each day?

4. What is going on in our lives? ♦ How have we responded to the hunger for affection, attention and

Jesus Gives Us Food To Eat ♦ Jesús Nos Da De Comer

ALIMENTO CELESTIAL Dios sostentó al pueblo de Israel por cuarenta años en el desierto con maná venido del cielo, y Moisés no quiere que lo olviden. Dios hizo brotar agua de la roca para que bebieran, y Moisés tampoco quiere que olviden esto. Y Moisés se lo dice –dos veces—que el alimento que Dios envió era comida que ni ellos ni sus antepasados jamás habían probado antes. Jesús, también habla del pan venido del cielo, comida que el pueblo judío jamás había probado antes. Recordando el ma-ná del desierto, Jesús tampoco quiere que ellos lo olviden, expli-cándoles que él es pan y bebida para la vida eterna. Y Pablo les reitera a los corintios y a todos nosotros que en el pan y en la copa participamos en el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo.

FOOD FROM HEAVEN God sustained the people of Israel for forty years in the desert with manna sent down from heaven, and Moses doesn’t want them to forget it. God brought forth water from stone for them to drink, and Moses doesn’t want them to forget this, either. And Moses tells them—twice—that the food that God sent was a food that neither they nor their ancestors before them had ever experienced before. Jesus too speaks of food come down from heaven, food that the Jewish people had never experienced before. Recalling the manna in the desert, Jesus doesn’t want them to forget it either, explaining that he is the food and drink of eternal life. And Paul reiterates to the Corinthians and to all of us that in the bread and in the cup, we share in the body and blood of Christ..

Teach children everyday actions to reduce the spread of germs It is appropriate to frequently remind your children about ways to avoid or reduce the spread of germs and to start practicing at home. Among the tips are: Stay away from people who are coughing, sneezing or sick. Remind them to cough or sneeze into a tissue or their elbow, then throw the tissue into the trash. Get the children into a hand washing habit. Teach them to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing their nose, coughing, or sneezing; go-ing to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food. If soap and water are not available, teach them to use hand sani-tizer. Hand sanitizer should contain at least 60% alcohol. Su-pervise young children when they use hand sanitizer to prevent swallowing alcohol.
