Overview of the Evening’s Opportunities to Win

Cash Prizes Everyone that attends the Dinner & Raffle is automatically eligible to win cash prizes! The following prizes are awarded: 1 - $1,000; 1 - $500; 2 - $250; 10 - $100 Door Prizes Everyone that attends the Dinner & Raffle is automatically eligible to win a door prize ranging in value from $10 - $100! There will be one winner per table. 50/50 Raffle with a Twist (3 tickets for $5) Ten people will be drawn out of the 50/50 pool of tickets. Silent Auction More than 100 silent auction packages will be available in the school library & north hallway for your viewing and bidding pleasure! There are a wide variety of items at different values so there truly is something for every bidder! Be sure to check out the themed Classroom Baskets which are always a popular part of the silent auction! Bidding will close at two different intervals during the night. A number of packages will close around the mid-point of the evening, while others will continue to remain open until the end.

Classroom Baskets

Kindergarten – I’m a Michigan Kid. This basket includes a variety of items and gift cards from throughout Michigan. 1st grade – Getting ready for St. Mary School. This basket includes school supplies needed for St. Mary School. 2nd Grade – First Communion Basket. This basket includes everything you need for the perfect first communion celebration. It all starts with a full pew behind the students’ parents which is reserved for the extended family of the first communicant. Your child will then be the first to get his/her picture taken with Father Weber, and also two free photo sessions with Julie Martin Photography to capture the memories of this special day. When it comes time to celebrate, the St. Mary School gym will be reserved for your party. Don’t worry about cooking for all your guests because this basket also includes a catered meal for 40 people after the First Communion Mass (or for another date) provided by General Smokehouse and Meat Market. 3rd grade – Let’s get growing. This basket will help anyone grow the ultimate garden. Everything you need to have a garden of plenty is included in this basket. Some items include: rakes, hoses, shovels, pruning shears, seeds, gardening books and much more! 4th grade – P-W Spirit. This basket includes a variety of P-W items. 5th grade – Good Things Come in Small Packages – A variety of small baskets with various themes. 6th grade – Life is Messy. This basket is full of cleaning supplies.

Live Auction We currently have 20 amazing live auction items that will also be awarded to the highest bidder. Our guests will enjoy the spirited nature of a live auction as well as the opportunity to bid on some wonderful items! Fund-a-Need At the end of the live and silent auctions we will feature the “Fund-a-Need” as an opportunity for guests looking for an additional way to support the school. The school administration has identified a specific need and guests are given an opportunity to make cash donations for this specific cause. Photos will be displayed at the event showing how funds have been used from previous years’ donations. We appreciate your support in assisting with this important need!!

Your son or daughter will be the St. Mary School Principal for the day! He or she will make important school decisions like if students should get homework that night, if there should be extra recesses or if the day should be an out of dress code day. Your son or daughter will have an important lunch meeting with Mr. Thelen and other important school delegates and stakeholders at the restaurant choice of the "Principal for the Day". The "Principal for the Day" will help Mr. Thelen lead prayer and make special announcements to the whole school throughout the day, and maybe even choose the song to play at the end of the week. With this package the parents can enjoy a basket of domestic, craft, and unusual beverages hand selected by members of the office staff. What better way to try new beverages without investing in those expensive craft beer 6-packs?! We won't guarantee you will like all of these selections, but if you try these with great friends, we guarantee a great time!
