Study Books
Thank you to parents who have already placed orders for study
books to help with your child’s learning at home.
Many children have now received their book orders and feedback
from parents so far has been very positive and has indicated that
the books offer excellent value for money.
If you have a child in Key stage 1, Y5 or Y6 and you have not
already placed an order but would like to purchase study books,
please send your completed order form to the school office and
pay for the books on Parent Pay.
For any Reception parents who would like to help their child with
phonics we hold some lovely Reception work books in school
which you can purchase for only £2.00 per book. Miss Morris
holds a set of the books in class if you would like to look before
you buy.
Working with your child at home to reinforce their learning in
school really makes a difference and impacts greatly on their
academic achievements.
Additional order forms are available from the school office and
advice is available from class teachers, Miss Lennon or office
staff.
We thank all parents and grandparents for supporting your child’s
learning at home.

please check out the school website to view our RSE

BIG MATHS
All children from Y2—Y6 have Big
Maths sessions in school. They bring
home their big maths folders every
night. Children should try to spend at least 10 minutes
each night looking over their weekly Maths skill and
prompt sheets within their folders.
Working on Big Maths at home really helps children
progress in school.
SCIENCE WEEK 8—17 MARCH 2019
SCIENCE WORKSHOP
On Friday 8 March four Y5 children travelled to
