Congratulations on the installation of

our New Acolyte, Michael Boggs by Bishop Sheltz.

Felicidades en la instalación de nuestro

Nuevo Acólito Michael Boggs por el Obispo Sheltz.

A Big Thank You to the St. Paul’s Knights

of Columbus On September 26th, the beginning of this year’s 40 Days for Life, the St Paul Knights of Columbus gave a huggable donation to the Houston Coalition for Life. This picture was taken in front of their mobile pregnancy bus parked across the street from the Planned Parenthood Clinic at

4600 Gulf Freeway. With the hopes of softening moms’ hearts towards their unborn child, KC Bears will be given out to those moms who are still considering an abortion even after viewing their baby on ultrasound. St. Paul Knights Don Johnson and Dennis McBride and pro-life coordinator Marilyn Daniel posed for the KC Bear giveaway with Houston Coalition for Life Staff. Thank you to our Knights for their generous donation!!

Ministry and Continuing Education for Adults Because Our Faith is too Rich to have ever Learned it All…

Contact Heidi Clark, Director of Adult Ministry, 281.333.3891, Ext. 328 or [email protected] for more information.

Adult faith formation at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is centered around the understanding that living

“The Way” taught by Jesus Christ is a life-long, evolving journey, involving both effort and decision. To enable adults to explore the

faith and deepen their knowledge of God’s Word, we provide many opportunities to come together in a learning environment. As a

diverse community with a small parish feel, we know it is important to walk that journey with others and to share what we have

learned along the way.

Still time to Join New Women’s Study If you feel like you’re just going through the motions in your spiritual life, this Bible study will shake things up for you. We’ll look at how to make Eucharist more meaningful, where God is in the midst of suffering, and will search our hearts to open ourselves to the only One who offers us what we really need—healing and transformation. This new series takes place Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11 AM beginning November 6. The cost is $40. Need more info? [email protected] or 281.333.3891, ext. 328.

New Start Date! Divorce Recovery Program

Our 14-week divorce recovery session offers you practical support and hope in your healing journey—no matter where you are in the timeline of divorce. Thanksgiving Event for Young Adults and Young-at-Heart

St. Paul is pleased to host a special Thanksgiving-themed event for young adults and the young-at-heart on Sunday, November 18, from 6:30-9:30 PM in Founders Hall. Following a presentation by Fr. Tri, we’ll spend time expressing gratitude through letter writing, reflecting on obvious and disguised blessings in our lives, and sharing a meal of Thanksgiving, potluck style. All are welcome! Contact Heidi Clark for info: [email protected].

ATTENTION LADIES, WE NEED YOUR

HELP! We ask you to please blot your lipstick before receiving the Precious Blood of Christ. Our Purificators are being stained by lipstick wiped off of the cups and they cannot be reused once stained. The Purificators are generously donated by 2 parishioners and are washed and ironed by a very small group of very dedicated women. These women presoak, treat lipstick stains, wash and iron anywhere from 30 to 40 Purificators per week. It is a tremendous job and could be so much easier if the lipstick stains were not such a problem. Please consider our request when you get dressed for Mass.
