Global and cultural awareness is one of the 21st century skills without which , children
won’t be adequately prepared for college and work.
This is why at St. Peter’s we foster global awareness and international collaboration in our
classrooms .The annual International Learning Programs encourage our pupils to see things
from different perspectives and help them to make informed decisions, acquire transferable skills
that will be useful to them and will remain with them for life. This helps our students understand
and appreciate many cultures and build strong alliances with people from different cultural
groups.
Discovery of these diverse cultures makes our students well-groomed future Global Citizens. As
a part of this initiative, our students explored different nations , observed the various elements
of their Culture such as Social organization, Customs and traditions, Language, Religion,
art and literature, Economy and Trade, New Initiatives , Geography, Values, Marriage
and Family, Government and Law ,Games and Leisure ,Science and Technology prevalent
in these nations. Their discoveries were presented through different styles of performing arts in
course of the annual Cultural show titled CULTURAL VISTAS around the world.
Performances by our young Cultural Anthropologists through the Cultural Vistas around the
world are a testimony to our pursuits to integrate international dimension with core skills and
life skills as our students enjoy their hours learning academics at St. Peter’s.
