ALTAR SERVERS
Serving Mass is a privilege and an oppor-
tunity for boys and girls to serve our parish
community at the celebration of the Holy
Eucharist.
Requirements: Should be in the 3rd grade
and should have already received Holy
Communion or registered for their 2nd year
of preparation to receive Holy Communion.
Training is necessary to prepare to serve as an altar server.
Father Chris will be holding classes for any young person
in the parish that is interested in becoming an Altar Server.
Classes will begin on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00
am. Those interested in serving may sign up in the parish
office or may speak with Fr. Chris.

SERVIDORES DEL ALTAR
Servir en la misa es un privilegio y una opor-
tunidad para niños o niñas que deseen servir
a nuestra comunidad parroquial en la cele-
bración de la Santa Eucaristía.
Requisito: Debe estar en el 3er grado y
haber recibido la Primera Comunión o estar
registrado para su segundo año de preparación
para recibir la Comunión.
La práctica, es necesaria para poder servir en la misa como
monaguillo. El Padre Chris estará dando las clases de for-
mación para cualquier persona joven en la parroquia que está
interesado en ser un monaguillo. Las clases comenzarán el
Sábado, 26 de septiembre a las 11:00 am. Los interesados en
servir deben registrarse en la oficina parroquial o hablar con
el Padre Chris.

Nuestra Parroquia San Simón Stock y San José invitan a todos los pa-dres de familia a participar en un nuevo programa de formación cristiana y misionera llamado IN-FANCIA MISIONERA, para los ni-ños que ya hicieron el Sacramento de la Comunión. Este programa es una obra Pontificia de la Iglesia que
ayuda a los niños a conocer mejor a Jesús y ser misio-neros de corazón, con la misión de ayudar a otros niños a conocer también a Jesús. Sus lemas son: "De los ni-ños del mundo, siempre amigos" y "Niños ayudando niños". Es una oportunidad para que los niños continúen su camino espiritual y se mantengan activos en la parro-quia y en la iglesia.

and missionary formation called
Missionary Childhood Associa-
tion, for children whom have already
made the sacrament of Communion.
This program is a Pontifical Work of
the Church that helps children to better know Jesus and
be missionaries at heart, with a mission to help other
children to know Jesus too. Their slogan is: "All children
of the worlds, forever friends" and "Children helping
children". It is an opportunity for children to continue their
spiritual journey and stay active in the parish and church.
Date: Begin on Sunday September 20th Time: 11:15 am with the celebration of the
Holy Eucharist at 12:45 p.m.

Nuestra Despensa de Comida
Como ustedes saben, todos los miércoles la iglesia
ofrece una funda de comida a todas aquellas personas
de bajo recursos que viven en nuestra área. En este mo-
mento nuestra despensa de comida se encuentra limita-
da, es por eso que le pedimos su colaboración para que
nos pueda donar comida en lata para abastecer nuestra
despensa. Lo único que le pedimos que la fecha de ca-
ducidad no sea muy cercana. puede dejar su donación
en la oficina Parroquial. Le agradecemos de ante mano
por su generosidad.
OUR ANNUAL FOOD COLLECTION
As you may all know every Wednesday, St. Simon
Stock– St. Joseph Church has a food pantry which offers
a bag of food to those in need & of low income in our
neighborhood. Currently our Food Pantry is very limited
due to economy and a lack of donations. It is because of
this we ask for your contribution in helping to donate
can goods and other non-perishable items with adequate
expiration dates. If you wish to help, you can leave your
donations in the parish office. We appreciate all gener-
osity.
