Dear Parishioners, On behalf of all of the priests, I want to thank those of you who shared your wonderful baked goods with us for Christmas. I think I must have gained a few pounds this past week! I also want to express my gratitude to everyone who assisted in enhancing the beauty of our Christmas Masses: our choirs, cantors, and accompanists; our faithful servers, lectors, ushers, and extraordi-nary ministers; our “parking attendants”; and all who helped out in any way. This afternoon, we will have our annual rectory Christmas open house from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Tomorrow (Monday) is, of course, New Year’s Day — the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. This year there is no obligation to as-sist at Mass — but we will have three Masses: 8:00 and 10:00am and Noon. Finally, I want to remind you that our Cancellation Policy for inclement weath-er follows that of Loudoun County Public Schools. If schools are closed, parish offices and all activities are cancelled for the day. If schools dismiss early or cancel evening activities, our activities are cancelled, as well. The only excep-tion is Mass — we would only cancel Mass if we were unable to get to church or the bishop were to cancel the Mass obligation. That said, I urge you to ex-ercise good judgment: if the roads are not safe, please do not venture out. If activities are cancelled, the adoration chapel will remain open, but the Host will be placed in the tabernacle in case an adorer is unable to make his or her scheduled time. Baptisms

Parents desiring Baptism for their child must attend a class, preferably before the child’s birth. The clas-ses are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in the Louis Martin Conference Room in the Administration Bldg. After you attend the class, you may schedule your child for the Sacrament of Bap-tism (Sundays 1:30pm).

How to Register to be a Parishioner of St. Theresa Often, in the sacramental life of the Church, Catholic faithful will need to prove residency in a parish. Registra-tion with the parish office allows us to track your sacra-mental data and keep you connected with the life of the
