Sponsor Letters To qualify, one must be registered for at least 3 months, have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, be at least 16 years of age and attend weekly Sunday Mass. Married sponsors must be in a valid Catholic marriage.

On Christmas Eve, the people will pray the rosary led by a member of the Legion of Mary before every Mass. The 7:00 PM Mass will be in Spanish. There will be no morning daily Masses on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day, there will be no 12:15 PM Mass.

The Sign-up for Christmas Mass will open on December 17th at 1:00 PM and close on December 21st at 6:00 PM.

********************************************************************************************************** Online classes (Grades 1-7): The RE continues to press forward in spite of the continued pandemic. The students are getting into a grove and keeping the staff busy with checking their online work.

We have sent out a survey to RE families with regards to returning to a classroom setting come sometime in January. We will keep you posted on the results and hope to have a decision before the end of the year. Either way, the children are learning, we know that by the activity seen each week through the online programs.

The RE staff kindly requests to please continue to send in weekly assigned activity pages. Parents are asked to take a picture, scan and email completed activity pages for grading purposes.

•As dispensation to attend Mass is still in effect per Bishop Burbidge, and if medical conditions prevent you from attending Sunday Mass in person, we ask that families attend Mass via live streaming regularly. We are seeing more and more parishioners coming back to church and we have the church staff and ushers to thank for implementing strict cleaning procedures regularly to keep us all safe while allowing us to attend Mass in person. So, if you are ad-venturous, please consider going on to the website and reserve your spot for the Mass of your choice and join us in communion with our Lord.

We will continue to post information to the parish website @ SWOYCC.ORG about the program along with emails and other forms of communications to keep you up to date on all requirements and meetings.

With the uncertainty of where the months will lead us, we ask for your continued patience and understanding as we trav-erse the unknown and shift course as the events of the days and weeks unfold.

Christmas Flower Donations If you would like to donate to our Christmas Flower Of-fering in memory of a loved one, use the envelope pro-vided in your envelope mailing or you can pick up a Christmas Flower envelope in the side exits of the Church or at the parish office. Baptism Classes The next Baptism Preparation Class in English will be held on Wednesday, December 16th at 7:30 PM in the Brent Room. The next Baptismal Preparation Class in Spanish will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 8:30 AM in the Brent Room. What is Gabriel Project? Gabriel Project helps pregnant women with long and short-term needs by offering assistance at the parish lev-el. It involves a network of churches, crisis pregnancy centers and other agencies working together to assist the mother with physical, material, spiritual and emotional support. A Gabriel "Angel" volunteer may provide help by driving an expectant mother to doctor appointments, caring for children while mother is at an appointment, picking up groceries and other items as needed.
