Good morning 2B! Great job yesterday!

Math: MobyMax - 5 min on FF/15 min Lessons & #’s Optional +/-
Facts to 20
Read the book about Government and Communities that was assigned to you in Reading A-Z. (10 Mins) Please write down the title and level of your child's book which is found on the Kid's A-Z 'My Assignment' icon. Once your child listens to the book, reads the book and completes the comprehension quiz, the book will disappear from the 'My Assignment' icon and can be found in the icon called 'The Reading Room'. Press 'The Reading Room', then press 'Leveled Books', then press the level of your child's book on the alphabet at the top of the screen. The book will be found in this library of books in alphabetical order. Sorry I did not mention that your child has done this before but it was a long time ago, they but may need assistance. My apologies for this confusion!
Writing – Answer one of the prompts below in 5 – 6 sentences.
Please turn the question around. Include an opening sentence,
supporting details and a concluding sentence. Remember to
proofread and check for capitals and periods.

Religion – Think about a great story someone told you. Jesus was a
great storyteller. To enjoy a story we need to be good listeners.
We need to listen to God’s word. Listening to God’s Word is like
building a house on a rock. A house built on a rock will not fall
down. Watch the video Jesus Was Like Us then read page 155 and
answer the questions.

Info Below is for Parents
I found a great free math site to compliment MobyMax. I think your kids
will love it and it considered the one of the best online sites for math, it is
called DreamBox. Parents can sign their child up for a 90 day free trial. I
would love for us to use it! If you do choose to sign up, please know there
is one major caveat with this program. It is adaptive to students based on their
responses. So, it is very important TO RESIST helping your child with the math
questions (computer help is fine, but not math help). If you help your child and they
answer correctly, the Dreambox program assumes that your child understands and
will move your child forward. Then everything from that point forward will be too
hard for your child and can lead to frustration. If your child answers incorrectly, the
Dreambox program gives hints, and then, if necessary, backs up and gives your
child a tutorial. That’s often when great learning happens! So, please LET your child
get it wrong, it will help them in the long run. The link is below if you would like to
check it out and consider signing your child up. Participation and sign up are totally
optional! https://www.dreambox.com/at-home
