WHAT MATTERS MOST….
Our desire at Cornerstone is
that all would accept God’s
free plan of salvation…
All have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth
in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life. John 3:16
But as many as received
Him [Jesus], to them gave
He power to become the
sons of God, even to them
that believe on His name. John 1:12
WE BELIEVE... In the verbal inspiration and
authority of the Scriptures.
That the Bible reveals God,
the fall of man, the way of
salvation, and God’s plan
and purpose in the ages.
In God the Father, God the Son
and God the Holy Spirit.
In the deity, virgin birth and bodily
resurrection of Jesus Christ.
That salvation is by grace plus
nothing and minus nothing.
The conditions to salvation are
repentance and faith.
In the visible, personal and
premillennial return of Jesus Christ.
In the everlasting conscious
blessedness of the saved and
the everlasting conscious
punishment of the lost.

BEARING PRECIOUS SEED OCTOBER 11-15
Giving your change to help send God’s Word around the world. Our goal is to print 100,000 + Scriptures
for a total dollar amount of $13.300.00.
There is a jug for change in the foyer or you may mark your offering envelope
accordingly. There are sign-ups in the
foyer for anyone who would like to bring food and if you are planning to eat at any
of the meals (including the Sunday night kick-off wiener roast).

SENIOR HIGH: We are going to the corn maze at Tanners Orchard on Sept. 26th.
We will meet for a chili dinner at the 924
at 5pm and leave for the corn maze at 6. Plan on being back around11. Bring friends.
Cost is $6 for the corn maze.

Human Investigation: Questions for God (1:1-4; 12-17):
Why don't you listen to my prayer?
Why don't you protect your people from violence?
Why don't you do something about all the evil and injustice in the world?
Aren't you the everlasting, self-sustaining, creating, life-giving,
unchanging, holy, Creator God of heaven? Heavenly Explanation: Answers from God:
You are missing the big picture (1:5-11)
The righteous find their protection by living with humble faith (2:1-4)
The wicked will be judged for their arrogant faithlessness (2:5-20)
God is (I AM). God hears. God sees. God is not silent, nor is He inac-
tive. God will judge - all the peoples of the earth, both Jew and Gentile
(2:20). Application:
Habakkuk 2:20 – But the LORD is in His holy temple; let all the earth
keep silence before Him.
Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.
The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
