In the event the burial space is used for the burial of more than one individual as in the case of double depth or if the owner has been granted rights to convert a burial space to a family cremation plot all names will need to be accommodated on a single memorial that conforms to the size requirements defined later in this policy. Memorial(s) cannot be placed until the burial space(s) for which the memorial is being installed is/are paid in full. The term burial space shall mean a space for interment and shall include section, block, lot, space. Approval will be given by the Cemetery to allow purchase and installation of a memorial from a source other than the Cemetery, provided there is compliance with all specifications outlined herein and in accordance with the Policy Governing Memorials Purchased From or lnstal led by Outside Vendors /Contractors. Approved Memorial Materials Bronze: All bronze memorials must be mounted onto a flat granite base. No part of the granite is to be used as part of the memorial (inscriptions, etc.) but only as a base for the bronze memorial. Rules and Regulations Governing Memorials

Stafford Memorial Park (hereinafter "the Cemetery") allows one memorial per burial space. Colors: The Cemetery allow-s most grey, white and black granite variations however asample may be requested after receipt of v.endors sketch.-The Cemetery reservJs ttreright to deny any color that in its opinion does not conform to the cotor'patiei ttrenbgj.n.g installed- Requests.for othercolors may be submitted in writing ahd approvalwill be handled on a case by case basis.

Memorial Customization Requirements:

Finish.: The top surface of all memorials must be smooth finished. All outside top edgesmust be lined or lightly beveled to prevent chipping. No rounded end markers arepermissible in any style.

cameos: only stainless steel cameos manufactured by Matthews International are allowed.No covered frames and no porcelain cameos.

!-ettering: All letter.ing must be uniform in height and width and be spaced and set in lineboth vertically and horizontally

Yases: Only bronze vases with bronze collars bolted to the underside of granite are approvedfor use on memorials. Requests for other vase material may Ue sJUmitt.J in *riting i?t?iapproval will be handled on a case by case basis.

Size: All memorials must be of the flat or surface type, set even or flush with the surface ofthe ground. The size may not be greater than the limitations below:

Other size requests.may be submitted in writing and approval will be handled on acase by case basis that will be determined by the location of the lot to which th;memorial is to be installed.

Sketch: A sketch is. required to be approved by the Cemetery prior to manufacture. Saidapproval re,lates only to compliance with all spbcifications oritl'ined herein and will in no caseapply.to information or objects appearing on the memorial as requested by the iurfnii.itrl.The sketch shall be presented in computer generated form only (iiohand drawn slietches willbe accepte-d) and be to scale.providing in detail all information necessary to t6o* iorp-liancewith specifications contained herein, ie., material, size, finish, color, lettering, vase, anchorbolts and their exact position on the reverse side of the marker.

Scrolls: The Cemetery cannot order scrolls for memorial-s purchased through third partyvendors as scrolls are not interchangeable among manufacturers. When suth time is itbecomes necessary to add a death date or spouse's name scroll the purchaser or thairsuccessor(s) will be responsible for obtaining_these items. Additionally, unless the originalmemorial installation was performed by the Cemetery, the addition of I scroll will requlre thePurchaser or his/her successor to contract with a thild party installer for this r"ruic. iuUil.tto the Cemetery Rules and Regulations policy.

Granite Carvinq: The Cemetery will not provide future carving needs for flat granitememorials purchased through third party vendors. When such time as it becomes necessaryto add a death date or spouse's name to the flat granite memorial the Purchaser or theirsuccessor(s) will be responsible for obtaining these services from a third party contractorsubject to the Cemetery's Policy Governing Memorials Purchased From or Installed By OutsideVendors /Contractors.

lnstallation s

All memorials shall be installed on uniform lines as prescribed by the Cemetery to conform tothe general plan of the Cemetery.

The memorial and foundation can only be placed in the location as prescribed by theCemetery.

Memorials may be set only after the Superintendant of Grounds has determined that the lothas finished normal settlement and should be relatively free of further settlement.

Prior to installation, the burial space(s) must be paid in their entirety. For a companionmemorial both burial spaces must be paid in full.

Any person or entity that wishes to perform memorial preparation and installation servicesmust comply with the Policy Coverning Memorials Purchased From or Installed by OutsideVendors /Contractors.

Installation Pricing

lnstallation pricing is listed on the current general price list for the Cemetery.

Installation of Memorials by the Cemetery Purchased from Third PartyVendors

Third party vendor memorials to be installed by the Cemetery must arrive fully unitized andassembled. The Cemetery will only be responsible for the installation of the memorial at thegravesite, not assembly of ANY parts of the memorial.

All third party vendor memorial deliveries MUST be delivered on a truck that the driver can offload. The Cemetery staff will not be responsible for off loading memorials ordered through athird party vendor. Additionally, the Purchaser will need to be present when the delivery ismade to inspect that the memorial meets their approval. The Cemetery is not responsible forany defects or deficiencies of memorials ordered through third party vendors.

Installation Layout Procedures

All installations will require string-line precision for accuracy. Installer must use no less than6 lot pins to create a string-line triangulation for memorial installation. Memorials MAY NOTto be installed using previously installed memorials as a guide. Dimensions for space, lot,block and section will be provided by the Superintendant of Grounds when schedulinginstallation.
