Discuss the stage design and other technical aspects of a production that you have seen. You should compare it with another production you have seen. On the 20 th of November I witnessed Tring Park School for the performing arts production of “A Christmas Carol” directed by Edward Applewhite in the Markova Studio theatre. This festive play written by Charles Dickens was published originally as a novel in 1843; it follows the story of the main protagonist, Ebenezer Scrooge played by Zachary Wyatt, a cold-hearted miser who despises Christmas. Dickens describes this focal character as "The cold within him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, made his eyes red, his thin lips blue, and he spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice … bah, humbug”; his catchphrase to express the disgust of Christmas tradition.
