Welcome to Stagecoach, where we offer high qualityperforming arts training to young people aged four to eighteen years.

We strive to realize the potential of every child, stretchingtheir imagination and fuelling their creativity throughdrama, singing and dance classes.

During their time at Stagecoach, students grow inconfidence and self-esteem. They develop lifelong skills, helping them to flourish at school, home and in social situations.

Our Principals and teachers are friendly, experienced andof course, security checked. Lessons are structured andeducational, yet dynamic and fun, and delivered in a safe,secure environment.

Many of the skills we teach at Stagecoach are transferable. Singing and dance classes improve children’s numeracy skillsthrough visualising rhythm and number patterns. In dramaclasses, students develop leadership and communicationskills through learning as part of a team. Our dance classesalso make movement fun! Children become stronger and fitter and develop a positive attitude to exercise.We encourage creativity and our students love bouncingideas off one another and finding imaginative answers.

Ages 4 – 6Young children love to learn new skills through play, sowe’ve come up with a fabulous Stagecoach experienceespecially for four to six year olds.

Our Early Stages classes help younger children makefriends, have fun and learn the key performance skillsrequired for singing, dancing and acting.

No two classes are the same, so one week your child mightlearn new dance steps and gain an understanding of roleplay; while the next, they could explore the world ofimprovisation, rhythm and timing.

Our ninety-minute classes are held over three thirty-minutesessions each week during term time, in safe and securelocations across the UK. All our teachers are experienced in working with young children and DBS checked to thehighest level.

Our small class sizes ensure each and every child receivesthe attention they deserve.

Ages 6 – 18We delight in seeing our Main Stages students developtheir social skills and grow in self-esteem and creativethinking. This gives them a great head start in life!

As with our younger children, Main Stages students reapthe benefits of being divided by age into small groups.

Split into three terms, Stagecoach runs concurrently withthe regular school year but with classes taking placeoutside school hours.

For three hours each week, our students experience awide variety of performance skills and styles. Lessons are structured so that one term focuses on the skills ofsinging, dancing and acting; the second term allowsstudents to practise and hone these skills; and the thirdterm sees students gaining performance practice in front of friends and family.

It’s testament to our inspirational teachers and schoolPrincipals that many students remain at Stagecoach for the full fourteen years.

Advanced classesTeenagers can take their performing arts skills to a higherlevel in our Further Stages classes. Our advanced musicaltheatre sessions offer talented students the chance toextend their performance skills.

Through in-depth training and masterclasses, students honetheir skills in singing, dancing and acting. We give them theconfidence to audition for theatre and vocational dramaschools (if that’s their goal) and ensure they are wellprepared for interviews and auditions.

Many former Further Stages students have secured placesat prestigious musical theatre and drama schools includingRADA, Arts Ed, Guildhall, LAMDA, Mountview and Urdang Academy.

Main Stages Stagecoach students are invited to attendFurther Stages through the recommendation of theirPrincipal. We also welcome new students who haveexperience in dance, drama and singing.

What to expectYour child doesn’t need to be a budding star to joinStagecoach. A keen interest in singing, dancing or actingmeans they will love our classes and experience excitingdance choreography, creative drama and voice trainingin a variety of singing styles.

Students are expected to attend regularly and may begiven occasional ‘homework’, such as learning the words to a song or a piece of drama.

Main Stages students will receive a free subscription to‘Young Performer’ magazine and have the chance to takepart in events, enter competitions and occasionally performwith the stars.

As a parent, you will be kept up to date with your child’sprogress. This includes an in-depth report available to you on your very own online Stagecoach account.

Our Principals and teachers are always available should youhave any matters you wish to discuss, and you’ll be invitedto attend your child’s performances to see how they aregetting on.


Holiday Workshops

Theatre Arts Workshops take place at manyStagecoach schools during the school holidays.Students build confidence and improve their stageskills while rehearsing for a live performance for familyand friends at the end of the week. These workshopsare open to all children, whether or not they attendStagecoach classes.

Standards & Safety

Every school is led by its Principal who is responsiblefor the standard of education, discipline, care andcontrol of the students.

Our Principals monitor all aspects of the school, much like a Head Teacher. Classes are delivered by experienced teachers who are professionals intheir own field. All Principals and teachers are DBS checked.

An independent inspection agency assesses eachStagecoach school annually, focusing on health andsafety, quality assurance and teaching standards.

EventsOver the years, Stagecoach has given tens of thousandsof students the opportunity to perform on a grand scale.Several times a year, Stagecoach hosts a special eveningat Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, where students havethe chance to shine on a prestigious West End stage.Additionally, Stagecoach schools perform regionally atsome of the top theatres across the country.

Stagecoach also partners with leading producers todeliver a current and exciting programme of events andcontent within the school environment.

PartiesOur Stagecoach Parties are carefully tailored to suitdifferent age groups, so they are great fun for youngchildren and teenagers alike.

From the very start we will work with you to deliver theperfect party for your child. Young children aged four to ten love themed parties, so we dress up as fairies,princesses, pirates and detectives, before taking them on a magical journey and landing them safely back home with lots of amazing memories.

Older children aged eleven to sixteen prefer thesophistication of our Murder Mystery parties.

We can take care of everything from the party invitationsto the party bags, so you only need to think about food.Then sit back and relax while we do all the work!

Our Party Hosts are all DBS checked and have bundlesof energy and a huge repertoire of fun party games,songs and dances.

Our students are a talented bunch, so we set up theStagecoach Children’s and Young Performers Agency to helpthem gain experience within the performing arts industry.

Today we are proud to say that we have one of Europe’slargest talent agencies, representing young people agedfour to eighteen years who attend our Stagecoach TheatreArts schools across the UK.

We work hard to find fun and worthwhile opportunitiesacross all entertainment platforms for Stagecoach studentswho choose to become members of our agency.

No responsible agency can ever guarantee to find work for any actor, adult or child, however, we do enjoy a highdegree of success.

Stagecoach student achievements have included roles (bothmajor and supporting) in Hollywood films, West End shows,UK film and television productions, radio, commercials,voice-overs and photographic assignments.
