Stand Alone Programmer for Atmega328P-PU Arduino Boot Loader, DIY kit revision: date: order#: V2 2017-03-01 26016 for further information please visit www.universal-solder.com CANADUINO Stand Alone Programmer is an autonomous working boot strap programmer for Atmega328P- PU (Arduino Uno R3) controller. It takes just 7 seconds to turn a new or otherwise used Atmega328P-PU into an Arduino Uno R3 compatible processor. This MCU then can replace any Arduino Uno R3 controller and can be programmed using the Arduino IDE software. The perfect tool for mass production! Stand Alone Programmer DIY kit: The kit contains the PCB, the programming socket, miscellaneous electronic parts and a pre- programmed MCU holding the program for the flashing process and the memory dump file for the boot loader to program an Atmel Atmega328P-PU chip. Mini USB cable (for power supply) is included. For an easier assembling, start with the most flat parts like resistors and proceed with taller parts step by step. A thin sheet of foam for example underlayment helps keeping parts in place when you flip the PCB upside down for soldering. The last part you add to the board is the ZIF programming socket. Before you press the pre- programmed MCU in the DIP socket, make sure everything is assembled and watch if the PWR LED lights up. Please ensure LEDs are mounted with the long lead to the left, and the flat spot on the bulb to the right. Make sure you mount the electrolytic capacitor in the right direction. Usually the negative (-) lead is marked on the capacitor, but on our PCB the positive (+) connection is marked. Means the long lead (+) of the electrolytic capacitor faces the USB connector.

CANADUINO Stand Alone Programmer is an autonomous working boot strap programmer for Atmega328P-

PU (Arduino Uno R3) controller. It takes just 7 seconds to turn a new or otherwise used Atmega328P-PU into

an Arduino Uno R3 compatible processor. This MCU then can replace any Arduino Uno R3 controller and can

be programmed using the Arduino IDE software. The perfect tool for mass production!

Stand Alone Programmer DIY kit: The kit contains the PCB, the programming socket, miscellaneous electronic parts and a pre-programmed MCU holding the program for the flashing process and the memory dump file for the boot loader to program an Atmel Atmega328P-PU

chip.

Before you press the pre-

programmed MCU in the DIP socket, make sure everything is assembled and watch if the PWR LED lights up.

Please ensure LEDs are mounted with the long lead to the left, and the flat spot on the bulb to the right. Make sure you mount the electrolytic capacitor in the right direction. Usually the negative (-) lead is

marked on the capacitor, but on our PCB the positive (+) connection is marked. Means the long lead (+) of

the electrolytic capacitor faces the USB connector.
