2012 Energy Star Standards All Capstone Homes are built to meet (and in many areas, exceed), the 2012 International

Residential Code for Energy. This code is required for all new homes in Sussex County, Delaware. All Capstone Homes are tested for air leakage for the entire home and the HVAC system by a third party verification company. Capstone exceeds the 2012 Standards in the areas of wall insulation, heating and air conditioning performance, hot water heater performance, lighting, wood framing,

and window performance.

EnergySmart Only Capstone Homes has EnergySmart. The difference between EnergySmart and any other builder’s program is crucial. Capstone Homes is the only builder who considers the “cost of ownership” of a new home. Cost of onwership focuses on two things: first, Capstone’s Cornerstone Collection features quality materials.
