    ASD’S IDEAS FOR EUROCAE

  • ASD RECOMMENDATIONS IN SUPPORT OF A

    EFFICIENT, RISK BASED APPROACH: (1)

    WG73 and WG93 merger1

    • Merge WG73 and WG93 in preparation of the 150Kg threshold deletion in the EASA Basic Regulation

    Work Packages approach2

    • Delete all subgroups to move towards tasks-oriented processes for more efficiency

    Steering needed3

    • Tasks should be identified and coordinated by a group composed of some key stakeholders: EASA, SJU, EDA, ASD…etc.

  • ASD RECOMMENDATIONS IN SUPPORT OF A

    EFFICIENT, RISK BASED APPROACH: (2)

    ASD’s support to EUROCAE4

    • ASD is committed to support EUROCAE and has organised an internal Network of Experts to ensure industry coordination

    Duplication Avoidance 5

    • Increased coordination with RTCA is a must, and harmonisation efforts between EDA and EUROCAE are to be further developed

    Stakeholders’ buy-in6

    • ASD to become a key coordinator between industry elements and EUROCAE, to foster buy-in and sufficient resources.
