This document contains two types of standards for campus components. The first are standards that havebeen adopted through campus or governmental policies. The second type of standards are those that areadopted by use, experience and practicality.

The table below outlines standards that have been adopted by campus policy, including the Long RangeCampus Development Plan, the Sustainable Development Plan, the Campus Tree Plan, the Bicycle Planand the Procedure Guide. These standards shall be applied to all projects unless the Campus PlanningCommittee grants an exception. Additionally all projects are subject to the relevant portions of the Americanswith Disabilities Act (ADA) and for historically significant projects, the Secretary of Interiors Guidelines forRehabilitation.
