Standing Seam is a structural architectural roofing system that is mechanically field seamed for increased weather

durability and a greater resistance to wind uplift.

• Concealed fix, thus providing a continuous weather tight roof;

• Available in tapered and curved sheets with a minimum radius of 1.5m to satisfy the most

challenging design conditions;

• Available in a range of cover widths in ferrous and non ferrous material;

• The original clip has an inbuilt thermal bridge and allows movement resulting from thermal

expansion;

• Various roof designs achieve heat insulation and maximum acoustic performance;

• Can be roll-formed on site to achieve extreme length according to the project requirements.

9. Permitted Load on Standing Seam from Baseco Seam Clip ( s )

The BASECO Roof Standing Seam System is structurally designed to perform in various conditions. It saves time, costs and protects the building. Additional benefits include low energy usage and flexibility in design.

A wide spectrum of accessory features such as Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC), Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP), Solar Panels, Walkways, Handrails, and others can be installed on the top of the standing seam .

Free penetration connection is achieved by the use of extruded aluminum clips, which clamp over the seam of the panel using stainless steel bolts. This safely transmits the loading to the back of the substructure. All design possibilities are studied and designed by our Engineering Team to comply with the Architectural requirements of the building.
