Recently, a serious Beatles record collector remarked to me that “the odds of anyone having this collection were billions to one”! Any one of the records above might well be the finest, even the defining, element in another collection. Here, they are all part of The Defining Collection. And, don’t forget: altogether there are over 330 rare Beatles records in this collection with many of those just missing out on getting on The Top Forty List!!! Absolutely truly amazing! That is what the power of this collection is all about!!

1. FIRST STATE, YESTERDAY AND TODAY “BUTCHER COVER”, STEREO ALBUM.

HERE IT IS!! THE NUMBER ONE COLLECTIBLE ALBUM OF ALL TIME BY ANY ARTIST ANYWHERE AND ANYTIME!! Indeed, this is THE ULTIMATE RECORD COLLECTIBLE!! THIS IS A SEALED FIRST STATE STEREO BUTCHER ALBUM AND IT IS THE RAREST VARIATION THAT IS FOUND SEALED!! THIS ALBUM IS SUPER RARE AS THERE ARE ONLY TWO SEALED EXAMPLES THAT ARE KNOWN TO EXIST FROM THIS FACTORY!! There are ONLY TWO known still sealed First State Stereo Butcher albums that originated from the Scranton plant(RIAA #3 on back of album) - HOLLY GRAIL BATMAN!! The original album cover shows The Beatles dressed in smocks and covered with “butchered dolls”. The album cover NEVER had a “trunk cover” pasted over this cover. Approximately ONLY TEN sealed examples exist! This album has everything; Historical significance, rarity, controversy and demand. In fact, a sealed example is the MOST sought after record in record collecting history! The example that is in this collection is in STUNNING Sealed Near Mint condition. EVERYONE wants one and the long time collectors who have them are holding on to them and are TURNING DOWN HUGH OFFERS for their record! Check the pictures and feast your eyes on this beauty!! This is just one example of what is in THE ULTIMATE BEATLES RECORD COLLECTION. Believe me, if you have the money THIS COLLECTION IS NOT TO BE PASSED UP!!

2. COMMERCIAL “MY BONNIE” DECCA Label Single

Released in April 1962, there are approximately ONLY TWENTY examples that are known to exist (SUPER ULTRA RARE!) and most of them are less than VG condition! The particular example that is in this collection is in STUNNING NEAR MINT CONDITION and is the ONLY EXAMPLE KNOWN TO BE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION AND IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE BEST EXAMPLE IN THE WORLD!! It has a clean, factory date stamp, dated “APR 11 1962”, nicely centered, in the white area of the label on side “B”. In my opinion this actually gives the record more value because of this since it is probably the most historic date for Beatles records in America. This record is THE MOST HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT because this is The Beatles FIRST SINGLE issued in America (They are using the name The Beat Brothers on this single!)!! It bombed (most examples were destroyed) and became THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER SINGLE in record collecting history!! . If you could have ONE commercial Beatle single in your record collection, THIS would be the one to have!

3. INTRODUCING THE BEATLES, STEREO “AD BACK” ALBUM

The back of the album cover shows pitchers of 25 album covers from other Vee Jay artists, hence “Ad Back”. This is called a “Version one” Stereo album due to the fact that the album contains the songs “Love Me Do” and “PS I Love You”. Shortly after, Vee Jay had to remove those songs from the album due to legal reasons and replaced them with “Please Please Me” and “Ask Me Why”. That album is a called a “Version two” album. It is believed that Less than 50 examples are known to exist (SUPER ULTRA RARE!) and just about all of them are in VG or less condition! The particular example that is in this collection is in STUNNING MINT CONDITION and is THE ONLY ONE KNOWN IN MINT CONDITION AND IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE BEST EXAMPLE IN THE WORLD!! This record is HISTORICALLY HIGHLY SIGNIFICANT because this is The Beatles VERY FIRST ALBUM issued in America!! This album is one of the most very highly sought after records in record collecting history!! There were three variations of the back cover. The “Ad Back” album came first (MOST VALUABLE) than a few days later after running out of slicks for the back cover a “Blank Back” cover (Rank # 21 LEAST VALUABLE) was created and then finally within a few days Vee Jay printed this album with the back of the album cover containing a column back slick (Rank # 10 and SECOND MOST VALUABLE).

4. SPECIAL DJ NO. 8, “ANNA” Vee Jay Label PROMOTIONAL Single.

The record was given out to a few Los Angeles radio stations in 1964 to test the market for the single. There are ONLY SIX EXAMPLES THAT ARE KNOWN TO EXIST (SUPER ULTRA RARE!) AND THE EXAMPLE THAT IS IN THIS COLLECTION IS IN STUNNING LIKE NEW NEAR MINT CONDITION AND IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN THE BEST CONDITION IN THE WORLD!! MOST EXAMPLES ARE IN VG+ OR LESS CONDITION! THIS PROMOTIONAL RECORD IS THE RAREST BEATLES RECORD and is one of the most highly sought after records in record collecting history!! A VG+ copy sold for $27,000 a year ago. IF THERE WAS ONE PROMOTIONAL RECORD THAT YOU WOULD WANT FOR YOUR COLLECTION THIS IS IT!!

There are approximately ONLY 50 examples are known to exist (SUPER ULTRA RARE!) and most of them are in VG+ or less condition! The particular example that is in this collection is in STUNNING NEAR MINT CONDITION (STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP!) and is THE ONLY ONE KNOWN IN TRUE NEAR MINT CONDITION IN THE WORLD!! There is another example that was sold for $28,000 within the past year that is close in condition, but not as good as this one. This record is HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT because there were ONLY 300 manufactured and is in VERY HIGH DEMAND!! There are probably less than 50 examples that exist. This is one of the most very highly sought after albums in record collecting history!!

8. FIRST STATE, YESTERDAY AND TODAY “BUTCHER COVER”, MONO, ALBUM

The original album cover shows The Beatles dressed in smocks and covered with “butchered dolls”. The album cover NEVER had a “trunk cover” pasted over this cover. Approximately ONLY THIRTY sealed examples exist (ULTRA RARE!)! This album has everything; Historical significance, rarity, controversy and demand. In fact, a sealed example of this album is the MOST sought after Beatles album in record collecting history after a sealed Stereo example! The example that is in this collection is in STUNNING Sealed MINT CONDITION! The album is from the Scranton plant. THIS ALBUM IS SUPER RARE AS THERE ARE ONLY THREE SEALED EXAMPLES THAT ARE KNOWN TO EXIST FROM THIS FACTORY!! A sealed Livingston copy which came from the Los Angeles pressing plant sold for $46,000 a couple of years ago and that example was only in Near Mint Minus condition.

NOTE: The numbers 1 and 2 that you see are on the protective sleeve and NOT on the original shrinkwrap or cover.

There were only 750 albums manufactured and from those approximately Less than 50 examples exist (SUPER ULTRA RARE!) and most of those are in VG+ condition or less! This album is one of the most sought after records in collecting history! The particular example that is in this collection is in STUNNING LIKE NEW NEAR MINT/MINT CONDITION AND IS PARTIALLY SEALED!! THE POSTER IS IN MINT UNCIRCULATED CONDITION. Many of these albums are missing the poster. THIS EXAMPLE IS THE BEST ONE IN THE WORLD!! This particular example was owned by the late author Gareth Pawlowski who is the author of the famous Beatles book, titled, “How They Became The Beatles”. Recently, there was a copy that was in Near Mint condition that sold for $10,500.

The back of the album cover shows pitchers of 25 album covers from other Vee Jay artists, hence “Ad Back”. This is called a “Version one” Mono album due to the fact that the album contains the songs “Love Me Do” and “PS I Love You”. Shortly after, Vee Jay had to remove those songs from the album due to legal reasons and replaced them with “Please Please Me” and “Ask Me Why”. That album is a called a “Version two” album. It is believed that Less than 100 examples (VERY RARE!) are known to exist and just about all of them are in VG or less condition! 14. SONGS, PICTURES AND STORIES, STEREO GATEFOLD ALBUM

Very Rare album, especially IF you can find it in True Near Mint Minus or better condition! This album is very highly susceptible to damage easily due to the black color of the album cover which tend to flake quite easily and that the cover itself can be easily damaged if you just hit a corner of it People who bought the album would always keep opening the gatefold cover to look inside and thus cause damage to the album’s spine and lose of gloss of the album cover from general wear and tear. The particular example that is in this collection is in STUNNING LIKE NEW TRUE NEAR MINT/MINT CONDITION and is THE BEST EXAMPLE IN THE WORLD FOR THIS TITLE!!. This album is one of the most sought after records in Near Mint Minus or better condition in Beatles record collecting and is SUPER ULTRA UNDER VALUED!! 29. INTRODUCING THE BEATLES, MONO “BLANK BACK” ALBUM

The back of the album cover is all white with no printing or graphics, hence “Blank Back”. This album is VERY RARE! Most examples that are known to exist are in VG+ or less condition! The particular example that is in this collection is in STUNNING LIKE NEW NEAR MINT CONDITION AND IS CONSIDERED THE BEST EXAMPLE IN THE WORLD!! This record is HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT because this is The Beatles VERY FIRST ALBUM issued in America!! There were three variations of the back cover. The “Ad Back” album came first (MOST VALUABLE) than a few days later after running out of slicks for the back cover a “Blank Back” cover (Rank # 29 SECOND MOST VALUABLE) was created and then finally within a few days Vee Jay printed this album with the back of the album cover containing a column back slick (Rank # 31 and THIRD MOST VALUABLE). THIS ALBUM IS UNDER VALUED IN HIGH GRADE! When was the last time you saw the album in True VG+++ or better condition?

34. MEET THE BEATLES MONO ALBUM NO Publishing Credits on Disc Label

This is the first Beatles album that was issued by Capitol records in very early 1964! This is the super rare and very first issue of this album! First issues do not have the publishing credits on the label. It is estimated that 200,000 copies were pressed. Not many survived as Beatlemania swept through the country and everyone were playing these records on those heavy duty needles which just killed the disc! There are approximately 30 Mono copies in existence! Just about all of these are just beat!! Not this one! The condition of this very rare album is that it has a very beautiful Near Mint cover and an incredible stunning Mint disc!! There is not another copy on the planet that has a Mint disc!! Oh yeah, did I mention that this is a special copy of this issue? This particular copy is a PROMOTIONAL copy!! Most of these albums that still exist are not promotional issues!! This particular copy is the best one on the planet!! Fab indeed!

It is estimated that less than SIX examples exist! The example that is in this collection is the ONLY KNOWN PROMOTIONAL ALBUM EXAMPLE IN THE WORLD!
