From the Head Teacher

Dear Parents/Carers,

It is an important week for all our pupils in Year 6

next week and for that matter all children across the

country considering that the new national assessment

results will be published. So please all keep our

children in your thoughts and wish them the best.

Moving on, next week is also important to all our

Muslim families who will be celebrating Eid. In fact

we will be celebrating in school with all our children,

so check the arrangements for Eid day below:

Whichever day Eid is on please send your children in

after Eid Prayers and you may pick them up after

Lunch at 1:05pm, just like last year.

We will be having a party morning with lots of treats

for our children. They may wear their Eid clothes to

school and all other children may join in and come

wearing party clothes.

Holiday clubs

The Holiday Club will run from 25/7/16-to 5/8/16

Monday-Friday 10.00am-2.00pm

Alton Towers trip- Children need to attend the club to

go to Alton Towers

Please see Mr T for booking form- Limited spaces

Saturday Session

The last session for the club will take place on 9/7/16

There will be no clubs running on 16/7/16 and 23/7/16

Student Council

This week the football kit competition for the

Stanton Bridge Football team was completed. The

winner was Harkiran from Yr 1. In second place was

Maariyah YR5 and in third place was Amarah Yr4. Well

done .

In other events the school has taken part in a

Guinness World Record attempt, to draw as many

portraits of the Queen as possible. Everyone that

entered will get a certificate showing they are world

record breakers!

Don’t forget, next week Year6 are going to perform

their end of year play. So come along to see what it is

about!

Parents Evening To all Parents and Carers Please note children

will break up from school on Monday 18th July

2016, but school will open on Tuesday 19th July

2016 for parents evening.

Please book an appointment with your child's class

teacher as soon as possible.

Appointment times will be from 9 am in the morning

until 3pm in the afternoon. Year 6 Production

Please note the Year 6 End of Year production will be

on Friday 15th July 2016 at 9.30 am.
